6 Week Follow Up

Yesterday I had my first week follow up with the orthodontist. Everything is going as it should. He did have to "dremel" in a couple of spots. Basically he took just enough off between certain teeth to allow them to make room to move.

Although I am not physically seeing a difference in the positioning of my teeth yet, there is definitely a change. I can tell when I floss that some teeth are closer together and some further apart.

So far I am happy with the progress.

About to switch to my second tray

These last two weeks have not been so bad. I've gotten into a groove on how to care for my trays and when is best for me to eat to accomodate cleaning them. This set of trays has become looser then when they began which is perfect since that means my teeth have moved into the position they were supposed to. I anticipate the same soreness with the next trays. 1 set down 21/23 to go!

2 Days In

Surprisingly the discomfort that I have had is in regards to rubbing in my mouth and not with my teeth. Last night I needed to file down a couple of spots and received almost instant relief from the pain. The underside of tongue is still a bit raw today, but otherwise happy.
