Day 5 update!

I’m getting eager to see my final results! The treated areas have finally dried up & are a little crusty....I’m keeping high SPF & lots of moisturizer on.

any updates?
Any updates on the progress. Are you happy with the results? I too am thinking about getting that treatment. Where did you get it done? In Calgary per chance?
I’m in California and the esthetician’s office was in San Francisco. I only had one treatment and to be honest, I don’t see much improvement. Perhaps I needed several more to achieve the result I desired but the healing process was too long so I didn’t schedule subsequent visits.

Epi-Clear for broken capillaries

I’m almost 50 and makeup just doesn’t look as good on mature skin as it does on younger skin, so these days I just wear sunscreen and highly pigmented tinted moisturizer. That being said, I have a lot of broken capillaries and mild rosacea on my cheeks that unfortunately show right through the tinted moisturizer. Today I had an epi-clear treatment which basically “erases” the capillaries by cauterizing them. I’m posting “day of treatment” photos today & will follow-up as I heal. Hoping my skin will look clearer with no red spider veins in about a week so on days where all I wear is a little sunscreen, I won’t have all the redness! Tonight I am wearing an ample layer of Polysporin. For the next 5-7 days I will gently cleanse with CeraVe and my fingers only! No rubbing, no exfoliating! I will also wear SPF 48 and moisturizer.

What is Epi-Clear? Is it similar to broad band light and how are your results now?
