V-beam for Rosacea & Photo facial

For years I had little red veins on my cheeks (my dad & grandmother also had) which never really bothered me before but as I’m getting older I found I started using cover-up to hide them. I went to the Dermatologist 2.5 years ago and they suggested I get the V-beam laser treatment for the Rosacea veins with a photo facial to help get rid of sun/age spots. I could not believe what a difference it made! My skin transformed!
The Gal that did the procedure on me told me that she “got the veins really good, bruising the veins has the best results.” Well it totally worked and my skin transformed. I was getting compliments from my male co-workers noticing how shiny and clear my complexion looked and wondered what I did and if men can have it done as well (which of course they can do it too). It was recommended that I should just follow up with a few chemical peels a year to keep the skin in its condition post laser work. Well I never did the chemical peels since I just thought I would look that great always????.
After 2 years post treatment I realized I need to do some up-keep so I’ve been using Retin-A at night and recently added Vitamin C with hyaluronic serum in the morning. I haven’t noticed much yet but my aunt told me to keep it up as she started using Retin-A at age 45 and she’s 75 now and her skin looks fantastic! My Dermatologist always says I should consider a Fraxel next as she thinks I’d really see some improvements with fine lines that I’m starting to see forming by the lips????. I would like that next.
I lived in Austin Texas and these procedures were done at Westlake Dermatology in Lakeway, Tx...I now live in Carlsbad, Ca.
