VBeam on Nose for Blood Vessels

VBeam on Nose for Blood Vessels

I just had my second round of VBeam on my nose for blood vessels. After informing my doctor I did not see much of a difference after the 1st treatment, he asked if he could “bruise” me during this treatment (Be more aggressive) and I will get a better result. I said yes thinking a week of cover up on my nose. I was completely caught off guard with the recovery time. I’m on day seven and have barely turned the corner. My nose is bright red/purple in color with spots of bruising. Healing is extremely slow and at this point I still see all of the red capillaries. Keep you all posted.

It’s been 3 weeks and it looks Exactly like it did pre-treatment. The bruising went away and the redness is back to where I started.

I had a total of 6 vbeam treatments over two years before i finally received good results. Now, I go once a year for maintenance. You will see improvement after 3 sessions.

Yes I'm curious as well. How did things go?

Day 9

Coleb72
Day 9 and still really red. The bruising is almost gone but it’s concerning that it’s still so red. As per the doctor this is normal. I see a lot of blood vessels, more then before the treatment. They are bright red vessels, not dark. That to me means they are not bruised and dying they are new. I count wrong and only time will tell.

i had the same thing done.. bruising v beam didn't help much... just left me bruised for a week or so...

when healed, was your redness worse then before the treatment or the same?
June 2, 2019
pretty much the same.... they recommend to cauterize these vessels with something else.. how's the redness now?

I just posted day 11. Still Pink! It looked like this before I had multiple rounds of IPL that helped with the redness. I feel like I’m back to square 1.

i know, very frustrating... Go back to where you had this done. he can do another session non bruising vbeam to diffuse the red pink area...... That's all i would do now.. don't put anything on it prior or after 48 hrs... you'll will be fine....

i would also wait another 2 weeks to see final results... the pinkness may go away on it's own.. definitely sunscreen hats and more sunscreen... DO NOT burn that area with sun and protect it all summer

I’ll give it 2 more weeks. I’m concerned I see more vessels.

Find a doctor with KTP laser. I found a doctor who want to do radiosurgrey on my nose veins. I wish I knew more about radiosurgrey for nose veins. Vbeam does not help me on my nose.

Thank you, I’ll look for one.

Day 11

Day 11 and it’s still pink. I don’t see any improvement in the vessels. The bruising has subsided but now it’s diffuse redness and at times it looks purple. At this point I would not do it again.

Hi, I had V beam on my whole face for rosacea (first of three treatments) & the recovery was longer than expected however, I’m happy now - the full results didn’t actually emerge until 6 weeks later. Hang in there.

Thank you!

Any further update?

I’m all healed but it looks exactly like it did before Vbeam. Not worth it!

I had it too. Twice. Turned so purple an a new red spot appeared. They had warned me it might happen. It took two weeks to heal and now I have two spots to cover up. I will not do it again. So disappointed.
