Healing Taking Too Long

Healing Taking Too Long

So, I’ve tried a lot of different treatments for rosacea and nothing has given good results. My doctor suggested VBeam laser, and I’ve had it at purpuric settings (10joules/3ms). The doctor said it would heal in a week or two at most. However, it’s been almost 15 days since the procedure and I’m not healing very well. There are a lot of spots on my forehead that don’t fade at all. I’m not sure, but it looks like there is also hyperpigmentation because of the laser. The embarrassment, the results and the healing time make it not worth it, unfortunately. I just hope those spots go away…

Sorry you're having to go through this. What has your Doctor said about it?
Well, she said it’s supposed to fade with time, but I don’t think so. I can’t see any improvement so far. I’ll have an appointment with another dermatologist to get a second opinion.
You can also post your pics in the question section on here and Drs. will give their opinions about it too. Wishing you the best.
It will heal. Google is not your friend. I would flip out because The doc said they would go away in 2 wks and it didn’t happen. It actually took 3-4 wks. And I’m not using a bleaching cream to fade the couple of brown spots that are left after 2 months. (I got the vbeam for facial veins.) so now I’m feeling better about it.
Oops I meant I am using the bleaching cream
I’ve read that the bruising can take a month to go away.
Did it ever heal??
