Vbeam Caused a Scab and Lingering Redness

I had a vbeam laser treatment done one week ago. Purpuric settings were used, and I was bruised immediately in the office within 2 to 3 days, I began to form a scab in the center of the treated area which came off on its own in the shower on day six. It has been seven days and while the color has gone from eggplant purple to red and the sides of the treated area have gotten smaller, I am still left with significant redness and healing skin from where the scab was after one week. I will come back to update. I’m hoping things will improve over the next week or two.
