Ready to see my incisions properly tomorrow ???? - 3 week follow up

Going to see the nurse at Cadogan Clinic 2moz. She’s going to clean up the incisions to remove the glue and the tape. Hope they’ll be nice and flat. Some of the pleating seems to be from the tape. My doc might pop in. Might post pics afterwards.

Day 10

(Posting this later, wrote this earlier) Saw the nurse and the Dr on Monday. Can’t really stand up straight. Because the new pulled skin isn’t stretched out fully yet It looked like my torso got shorter.

Finished Codeine at Day 5. Did not buy any more as I do not want to mess up my tummy. Pain is still there but trying to control it with Ibu, Paracetamol and just braving through it. Arnica helps and So does Staphysagria 200c. I think it takes out the sting from the incisions.

Swelling and bruising are MUCH improved and so is the shape. Already tummy looking flat and flanks reduced. Never had such a flat tummy before so when I look at myself my torso looks shorter. Must be an illusion as I had the skin fold hanging lower before.

Have not been doing very much. Went to take a walk outside but incisions started to hurt in a few minutes. So been lying in bed with pillow under legs.

I have just realised that I underestimated recovery from Tummy Tuck and thought must be like getting rhinoseptoplasty which was EASY compared. The pain is worse and the area that’s healing is much larger. But well I’ve done it now and am I am so glad I did it. Will get through this soon.

Can’t wait to workout and see what kind of results I can get as in the past the loose skin covered up everything.

Still Very Bruised and swollen.

I ordered some Epi-foam to wear under the CG in the hope it will stop the garment from creasing. Feels great albeit a bit bulky Very cooling and stops the edge of the CG digging into the incision when I bend. There was a marked reduction in bruising where the foam was on my first night.
