Vaser Lipo in London Abs and Flanks

3 and a bit weeks post-op

WORTH IT$8,000
So I’ve removed the 4D vest at the 3 week mark and wearying just the compression garment for 8 hours a day. I do feel like I can move much better but I must admit I do miss the security of the 4D vest.
I’m still experiencing some discomfort and I’m sure that I’ll be told it’s normal and still very early. Most of the pain is around the hips.
My body seems to have changed so much from day 1. At times I don’t like the appearance as my torso is still discoloured from the bruising but more than that as the swelling subsides I can see the unevenness and lumps and bumps and I wonder if I will get to that really smooth stage. I have been having MLD sessions but been told I don’t need anymore as there is no water retention or swelling.
Overall I still like the shape from the Lipo but I’ve not lost any inches.

How are you getting on now? You look great! Has the bruising/swelling changed in the last week or two?
I'm much better now but still only 5 weeks in. I underestimated how tough an operation this is and you really feel exhausted for weeks. I'm still wearing my garment and as the swelling goes down some lumps and bumps are becoming apparent. I've been told this is normal but I guess you do worry about it never going and being left uneven. I'm seeing my surgeon next week so hopefully he will be able to shed some light on how well the recovery is going. I'd say my skin is still discoloured in places due to bruising but it's slowly getting there. I love how I look in clothes now, but just need to feel amazing in a bikini
I think your shape looks really good. Can't believe you haven't lost any inches as your waist looks a lot smaller. Is the 4d best similar to using lipo foams?
It's so crazy that I haven't lost any inches given that there is a difference in appearance. I'll do some measurements next week as the swelling reduces. I think the 4D is similar as it is also foam. My surgeon requested I buy it from a specific place, so I did. There were some that were half the price on other sites but I went with the recommendation on the basis that I had made such a large investment into the surgery
I'm having abdominal liposuction on Dec 3/19, why do you have pink K tape on your stomach? What benefit did it do? It's the first time I've seen K tape being used like this. Thx in advance :)
Hi, my MLD therapist used the tape to help with the reduction of swelling and bruising. It worked so well.
Good to know, any other suggestions? I'm going in next week.
How did it go? How are you finding it?
Days 2-4 were very uncomfortable, it's a bit better today. Still need pain management, but I also had a L breast pocket and scar revision completed at the same time (massive reduction done 2yrs ago). More bruising than I had anticipated, hopefully my physical activity will become easier at the 1-2 week mark. I wasn't very big to begin with US 4/6, and had 2.2 lbs of fat removed. It's this bloody abdominal binder that's driving me bat sh*t crazy.
I'd say it took me about 3 weeks to start feeling better. As I mentioned before I underestimated how tough it could be. But stick with it. You're absolutely right about the binder, it's the one thing that drove me crazy and I couldn't wait to get rid of it
I've completed my first 7 days of hell with it.....14 more full 24 hrs to go
hi, where did you go for your procedure
The Landings Surgical Centre, Bishops Landing, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Fabulous place, the cities best Plastic Surgeon Dr. Richard Bendor-Samuel, founded the Centre, landingsurgery.ca
I'm going in next month to the same place, Holli Woods. How are you doing now, do you see a big difference with your appearance, are you satisfied?
You look incredible. The results are fabulous.
Thank you so much x

Hi where did you have you procedure done?
Dr Wolf in London.
You look really good. Sounds like it has been a painful recovery. Did you stay in hospital overnight?
I think I underestimated just how intrusive this surgery was, but that's a reflection on me and not the the surgery. The first week is definitely the hardest and I would recommend taking this time off and resting. I was back at work a few days later and I was just exhausted. Things are getting better for sure but I'm still feeling discomfort. In most cases I believe this is done as a day case, which was the same for me. I was in 9am and discharged by about 2pm.

So things are starting to feel better for sure but the pain has not gone. Most of it is in my back. I did find that when I took the compression garment off the pain eased off so much. I asked the clinic if I could have some respite from the 4D vest and garment and they advised against it, I guess no pain no gain.
Tomorrow I get I remove the compression socks which I’m so happy about.
After 3 MLD sessions my therapist has said I don’t need anymore however I may go in for one more. You can see she used Kinesiology Tape to reduce the swelling, this totally helped in my opinion.
My mood has been up and down over the last couple of weeks, I suspect not sleeping will play a large part in this but it’s on the up. My appetite has been bigger than normal, hoping that’s normal during recovery.
My skin is really dry near where he incisions have been made, don’t know if this is linked to the incisions or anaesthesia?

What is the 4d vest if you don't mind me asking? I have just been advised I'll have foams under my faja
Hi, I've been told to wear my 4D foam vest under my compression garment. I believe it helps keep the area flat and avoid creases in the skin but I don't think everyone is asked to wear one. You excited about your surgery?
