Vaser Liposuction - Easier Than I Thought

ORIGINAL POST

Well That Was Easier Than I Thought…

WORTH IT
I am 8 (ish) hours post op and wanted to do a quick review of my experience so far.

I was booked in for 6 areas (lower upper abs, waist, flanks, lower back and inner thighs)

I’m not a newbie to surgery having had an emergency section, planned section and a later tummy tuck to correct some of the damage from my monster 8 plus pound babies. (I’m five foot 2 so they stretched me beyond belief) I can reassure any body that has had the above surgeries that Vaser for me was a walk in the park in terms of pain.

If you are thinking about it, go for it. From consultation to surgery you couldn’t ask for a better team to support you. It honestly felt like home from home. Mike and the team were fantastic.

I had more chub than anticipated so will have to go back for the legs as the maximum safe removal is 5 litres in one sitting. I really appreciated this honesty. I would much rather go back for another procedure than have a conservative result squeezed into this session.

Honestly, the worst thing about it was the thought of standing in the paper knickers before the procedure. I’ve felt rubbish about my body since kids so this was not nice for me. However, dreaming of my end result made me get over myself. They’ve seen plenty of bodies of all sizes and were so nice and caring. I really shouldn’t have worried.

No results to show yet as I’m binded up and recovering but watch this space and I’ll share more as I continue my journey and sort the inner thighs out. Literally, if you are thinking about doing it, bite the bullet. You only get one life and you might as well make it a happy one. Life isn’t a dress rehearsal. This is it.

Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us! How are you feeling now? Are you still wearing your binder?

I’m feeling fine. No pain now, in fact I came off pain meds the day after. I’m bruising up nicely and having regular MLD. The shape is coming along nicely!
