WORTH IT
Hello
I haven’t updated in awhile because I was too busy and a tiny bit depressed. I’m doing so much better now mentally, physically and all.
I think now I can give a very good review of the procedure, the results and the recovery.
I’m still recovering of course but I have a few things to mention.
First of all I consider myself very lucky because my recovery wasn’t bad at all! It was pretty simple and I didn’t experience anything crazy. I was expecting it to be much worse to be honest.
I didn’t bruise AT ALL. Wasn’t in pain. I have sensation all over my areas. I THOUGHT I didn’t have any swelling but i did. So I’m gonna go over each period briefly.
Week 1:
It was okay. Was sore and uncomfortable for a few days. Swollen of course, and you feel very uncomfortable due to the factor of the garment, the way you smell (I smelled like people in hospitals for awhile), and the soreness. But it was okay, and I felt way better than I expected. I walked a lot and was very mindful of my food.
Week 2:
Didn’t have any pain. The lumps began to form. Gave myself lots of massages, and that’s when I was swollen the most. Around day 10-12 although I have to admit it was because I ate lots of carbs, and I was on my period. That’s when I felt the worst “mentally” I looked bigger felt awful due to the food I ate, and felt like I made a huge mistake because still in the back of my mind I didn’t think that I was still swelling up and recovering.
Week 3:
Which is now going into 4. I feel really good and look really really really good. I started working out around day 12. (You should start after two weeks but I began 2 days earlier) I walk everyday and I do lots of strength work outs nothing crazy and still nothing that involves the core a lot.
Here are a few things I did and noticed:
1. I drink lemon water every day in the morning and walk for at least 30 minutes. Right after I wake up.
2. I massage everyday at least 2 times for 30 minutes minimum each session. I use coconut oil, and I bought a wireless massager that I think has helped a lot. Massages are great, on hard days when I work too hard I can feel that my body hardens and it gets a bit uncomfortable. The massages really help loosen things up and reduce swelling. 100% recommend. I did my OWN massages since day 5.
3. I drink lots and lots of water. It means you pee a lot but it’s great.
4. Because my swelling wasn’t too crazy, my compression garment got loose around 10 days in. I hated it so much due to the peeing from the hole and having to take it all off to poop. So I began wearing my high quality waist trainer on top to give me compression and the doctor said that’s okay.
5. This sort of goes into point 4. After week 3, I just felt like the compression garment was just an extra unnecessary piece of clothing so I stopped wearing it, and I wore an ab board along with my waist trainer. (My waist trainer isn’t too tight that suffocates you) it basically feels like the compression garment when it was new. I didn’t get anything for my arms though.
6.I eat less and I eat smart. I reduced salt, no sugar, and very very low carb.
7. The waist trainer and the ab board make me look big but I’m patient because without them on I look amazing, and I can’t wait to see my final results and until I’m able to not wear any garment at all.
8. My scars are doing well, they are visible but not too crazy. The coconut oil has been helping a lot.
9. I lost around 8-10 pounds. Around 7 inches from my waist and hopefully with the workout it’ll go down more.
10. At first I wanted it to be a miracle procedure where I’m out and instantly I look like a model. That isn’t the case, which I already knew but I was in denial. You need to put in your effort you need to work on top of the procedure to get the best results. You can’t eat and have the same lifestyle you had before and expect good results that just won’t happen.
Bottom line I feel and look amazing I’ll update with pictures when I take them maybe at 6 weeks. This was the best thing I ever did :)

Fantastic results! I’m so happy you are feeling better!!!
Hi, considering surgery with dr.precht, but concerned she is not a plastic surgeon (only general surgery). Did this bother you? Did she do procedure in a hospital? How's your recovery - any bumps/issues?
You look great please keep us posted with your journey and photos..

Day 4

Nothing much to update on!
I successfully used the bathroom this morning :D which made me feel great all day long!
There’s a lot of soreness, sitting down wasn’t working for me, so I had to work standing up. I had to take some Tylenol because I was uncomfortable, but other than that I’m doing really well. The same soreness, swelling, and hardness. Still eating clean and drinking lots of water.
That’s about it for the day.

Day 3 post op

Today was good. I stopped pain killers and I cannot wait to finish the antibiotics. I was feeling a bit down because I felt dirty and helpless so I took a shower and washed my garment. I’m still eating well but I cannot stand eggs anymore. If I see, smell, or taste another egg I will throw up!
The swelling is good I just feel a bit tired.
I will be going back to work tomorrow so we’ll see how that goes. I’m planning on going to bed soon so I can rest as much as possible.
I smell good and I feel clean, my only concern is using the bathroom :( i haven’t gone number 2 yet and it’s really bothering me. I didn’t need any help with anything and I’ve been sleeping well.

I also took some pictures they’re the best I could do right now! You can really see the difference even though I’m swollen and my stomach is hardening I’m so excited. I honestly regret not taking proper pictures and measurements.
