2 months out!

Feeling great swelling lumps and numbness keeps improving each day, got a spray tan today for a trip to Cancun this upcoming week, loving my side by sides before and after ! I have not really changed my diet and exercising is finally not hard! Back to doing everything normal running 3 miles again. Feeling great! I’ve lost an inch all over waist thighs and hips , only down maybe 3-4 pounds so nothing significant .

You’re looking great! Thanks for sharing your story :) What type of Lipo did you have? Was it normal Lipo, mid/high definition Vaser? Also might be a stupid question but can’t find the answer - I’ve heard you need to keep the compression garment completely smooth to avoid lumps post surgery but if that’s the case how do you sit down because you’d be at a 90 degree angle?
I had vaser. I have not had any permanent lumps or creases . I can see where that may be a concern cause the swelling is terrible and can make things look awful. I kept mine on for 6 weeks but towards the end cheated in the evenings and would just wear tight body underwear and for my abdomen I used an abdominal board inside my garment to keep things smooth . I don’t think any true lumps would have ever occurred due to poor use of the compression garment though. Just a lot of swelling . Massaging your treated areas every day is a must
Good for you, i see the difference!
was Dr concerned with length of time you remained w/ swelling and 'hardness"? i see others mentioning lymph.massage but my Dr has not mentioned at all (i'll ask today) and acts like this is just a 'few weeks" recovery and most people do it on a Friday and go to work on Monday. I'm just not seeing that kind of input from anyone here except ONE (Wonderwoman!) ***FWIW: yes i see the difference and since you werent large to begin with, i think it's exactly on target for what we are "supposed to" expect from this procedure...sculpting. I think you got better looking results than some who went drastic and appear too lean compared to their un-done parts (which is something i'm worried about--- i want to remain looking ...consistent...)

Week 6

Everything is softening up! The hardness and lumps are definitely going down, still with swelling issues after a large salty meal or a bit after working out, but it’s getting better. Going to Cancun in 2 weeks I’m nervous about being uncomfortable due to swelling and I don’t want to depend on my CG. Still wearing the CG at work it helps a lot with swelling. I’m worried in Cancun with heat and vacation food I’ll be in swell hell and uncomfortable ¯\_(?)_/¯. Hoping for more improvement these next 2 weeks. I’m a little disappointed in my inner thighs was hoping for a more drastic change. Anyone know if I can still expect to see more change ? In regards to my abdomen and pubic area I am very happy with my results, just ready for the swelling to be gone!
