Left Lumpy and with Dents and Scarring

It’s been a couple years out from my liposuction journey with Dr. Precht. While her bedside manner and her team were very pleasant the actual procedure was really rough and uneven. I’d like to mention that while she is board certified in general surgery, she is NOT board certified in plastic surgery. I’m actively looking for a different revision doctor because I was left very uneven and lumpy.

I had the full 360 vaser lipo done with her and it was such a hard recovery. I couldn’t imagine going back to a physical job a week from surgery like they advertise. Everything hurt, I leaked for days and developed what I assume to be a seroma. I contacted the doctor and told her but she said to wait and see if it reabsorbs and it kinda did but it left behind this really dense tissue. I did a follow up about the scar tissue and I was told to wait for the scar tissue to go away on its own. I was still hopeful I would even out and I was happy that my waist was smaller but now that things have officially settled I am really really distraught about my results. If you pull the skin up, you see clear tethering. On my left side where the fluid build up was I have a dense fibrous lump that is visible, and too much fat was taken out in my upper abdomen so I have a dent. My skin gained this red webbing coloration which I think is indicative of damage from the Vaser that I didn’t have before the surgery and the overall quality of my skin has become crepey. I thought that maybe losing some weight would help make the lumps less visible but it actually makes everything more prominent. I followed the after care instructions to a T, I did a low-carb diet, walked a lot, did self-massages (I think it should be mandatory to require professional lymphatic drainage massages), and wore my compression garment with the foams for longer than suggested. My last follow up with her she said just not to stretch the skin which I think is pretty dismissive when there’s so much scarring. My incision sites also remain extremely puckered to this day so you can see them very easily even after a couple of years. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor at the price she charges. I feel like calling yourself a board certified plastic surgeon should mean that you’re board certified in plastic surgery and my results are very subpar.
