WORTH IT
I wanted to add the last set of pics I will be posting. These pics reflect pre-op pics and post 2nd procedure at 6 month point. It has been a full year since my first procedure and I’m still pleased with the results. I hope my story and pictures have been helpful for you.

Thank you for sharing I'm due to see Dr Comins in 2 weeks!
May I ask what was the pain like?
Was sedation scary?
What was your down time overall?
The pain was not as bad as I thought it would be, probably like a 5-6 out of 10. The sedation was the best part for me, going to sleep and waking up and it's all done, but I only had the sedation for the first procedure and was awake for the second one. You will feel pretty dizzy and light headed as you wake up. For my first procedure I had taken a week off work but I was ready to go back after 4-5 days. I guess it all depends on your pain threshold. Will you be going for a consultation or to do the procedure?
I'm going for the procedure in Jan but that sedation thing scares me, ad I've never had it before.
I have a high pain threshold but you never know
I hope my results are as beautiful as yours, what's scarring like?
Thank you very much, you are in good hands. The scarring is very small and I had made my own concoction of ingredients which I use daily to minimise visibility of the scars which seems to be working. Depending what you're getting done will depend on how many openings he will make. Dr Comins will try and cut where it's less visible but I had informed him that I would prefer the best results and was not really bothered about where he cut as I knew I would take care of the scarring once the wound had closed.
What areas will you be focusing on for the procedure? And what is it that worries you going under sedation?
Amazing thank you.. I'm getting the same regions as yourself abdominal/ back fats..
I have my scare gels prepared with my home remidies as well l hope my scars aren't won't be too bad.
Did you get massages as well??
I don't know why I'm concerned about sadation as I've been told by at least 4 people it's the best part lol..
Thank you for taking the time to respond to me.
I did have the MLD sessions. I had about 4 after each procedure. Do you know if yours will be completed in one op or will he split it in two?
Mine is one procedure, hope my results are as good as yours
I'm sure you'll be very happy with the results. He's a great surgeon. If worse case scenario was that you weren't happy then he would do everything within his power to fix it but he's an expert in the field. Make sure you speak to him again just before you go in so he is fully aware of what you want. I'd love to hear how yours goes so if it isn't too much of a burden can you update me.
Thank you for the, reassurance I will keep you updated

Can I ask how much did this cost?
Thank you

May I ask what was the bruising and pain like for you?
Additionally how was movement
Hi Lulapula, I was lucky cause I barely had any bruising, the pain was less then I had expected, but you'll have pain killers prescribed if you need it. I only took them, the day after my first procedure.
I hope I have answers your question.
You look amazing! Dr Comins has just done my upper and lower abdomen but I'm wondering if I should have done my upper body also now I've seen your results. How are things now it's been another 6 months?
Hi IssaVibe, Thank you so much! Things have been going really well. It's been a full year from my first procedure and 6 months since my second. Everything has almost completely settled pain and uncomfortable wise though there are still some sensitive areas around my rib cage that are still tender from the second procedure. Generally it's been ok with me keeping the weight off on a day to day basis but I find that I gain weight when I'm on holiday. I will be posting my last set of pics today. When did you do your op and how has things been going for you?
Well done for beeping the weight off! Holidays are always a struggle. Do you find the weight goes back to the same area as before?
I had my op on the 1st so it's only been a week. My wounds didn't leak and healed within a few days but I'm still swollen and tender. I have my 2nd check up next week so fingers crossed I'm on the right track to recovery :)
Mainly in the areas that were not done, like my hips etc, but when I have gain weight it's nothing anyone notices but me as I try and keep it under control immediately. It's still really early days for you. I'm sure that everything will go well. How do you feel about your results so far?
I like what I see so far but I'm contemplating my flanks and back for a more hourglass figure. The lady doing my MLD is insistent it's not needed but because I can't get back in the gym yet I'm still in 2 minds! I'm still quite swollen and my stomach is quite sore and lumpy which isn't great to see but I just need to keep reminding myself it's only been 10 days. How many MLD sessions did you have and was it at Hans Practice?
You'll see the full results soon enough and then you can decide whether you want anything additional done. You'll be amazed at how much you'll change at he 6 week point. I had 4 MLD sessions after each procedure but I was quite fortunate as my swelling was minimal, they had commented that they had never had anyone with such little bruising and swelling after a day or two after the procedure. I only had 1 MLD session at Hans place but that was due to not being able to fit it around my working hours. How are you things going for you now?

Dr Mike Comins- Best in field
I honestly have to say that Dr Mike Comins is amazing at what he does and is arguably the best in the field in my opinion. He is not only a surgeon but a genius in this art and a perfectionist which is evident in his work. I am extremely pleased with the results I have so far with my lipo, and I am excited to see the full results after my final procedure. The only regret I have is that I didn't have this done years ago. I have no doubts about Dr Comins’s ability and would recommend him highly to anyone that is interested in getting vaser liposuction done.
I have given a general overview of my experience so keep reading on if you are interested in finding out about my journey.
I had been thinking about doing Lipo for about a year and was doing quite a lot of research for the best surgeons & experts in the field. All my research had to lead me to Dr Mike Comins, so I booked a consultation with him, to see if I was a good candidate for the procedure and if my expectation were realistic and achievable. I should point out that there is a booking fee but you will be refunded that once you attend the consultation. The day of the consultation went smoothly it was really informative. The areas I wanted to focus the Vaser Lipo on was my upper & lower Abs and upper & lower back which he agreed. Dr Comins informed me what the cost of the surgery would be, the average recovery time..etc he was very open to my questions and heaven knows I asked quite a few questions, but he was very professional, open and honest with his answers and I left feeling well informed and at ease with no pressure to make a decision there and then.
I decided to move forward with the surgery with him and booked it for a month later. Vicky who is front of house and the Patient Coordinator was really friendly and accommodating. I was sent a bulk of information regarding what to expect from the surgery and what to do pre & post op. I was told that I would need to get a compression garment & 4D foam body vest to support my recovery, which I ordered.
The day of the surgery I was surprisingly calm. I was met by Natalia who is the nurse and we went through some formalities and some of my paperwork. I was also given a pregnancy test to ensure that I was not pregnant. I was then introduced to the anaesthetist (I decided to go under Twilight sedation, it does come at an extra cost but it was definitely worth it for me). who was bubbly and made me feel more at ease.
During the consultation stage, I was informed that it would take about 3 hours and it was likely to be done over 2 procedures, as there is a limit on how much fat can be removed in one sitting. Dr Comins assured me that he would do my upper & lower abs and my upper back and revisit my lower back another time if he was unable to do it during that procedure. This occurred so I will be going back to complete the rest at a later date.
Waking up from the procedure I felt dizzy and tired. They had bandaged me up and put my aftercare garments on me. I had my sister come and pick me up and she took care of me for the first couple days. The first night was the worse for me, I didn't sleep a wink, not due to the pain but because the garments were so uncomfortable. The day after the surgery Dr Comins called to see how I was doing which was greatly appreciated. The first couple of days were probably the most painful but the pain was less than I had anticipated. The pain level was 5-6 out of 10 for the first day or so. After that, the only pain I felt was when getting up. (that's when I realised how much we use our core stomach muscles when doing simple things like sitting up). I had 4 MLD massages for the first couple of weeks. This helped me a lot with the swelling. Luckily for me, I barely bruised after the op and I noticed a massive difference with my swelling within a month, even though full results are seen in 6 months. I've had relatively minor issues with lumps and bumps but most have gone away by themselves.
I am now almost 4 months post-op and will be having my final procedure at the 6-month point. I have posted before and after pics. The first one is one day prior to the op, the second is 24 hours later and the rest is self-explanatory.
I hope this has been helpful and I will post again once I have the final procedure and will include pics.

You look amazing! How much was your procedure?
Thank you! It differs from person to person so you're better off going for a consultation. My friend had a consultation and her price was totally different to mine.
But how much did you pay ? Ballpark

thank you for everything you've shared!
