Breast implant reduction and Vaser lipo at Bumrungrad Hospital

WORTH IT$12,000
I sit at the very swanky plastic surgery wing of Bumrungrad International in Bangkok in Thailand awaiting my surgery this morning. I will be having a revision of my 375cc high profile silicone breast implants that I had inserted in July 2014 as I feel extremely top heavy in my appearance and I fear as I have been having a lot of brain fog that I have decided that I want to replace these. Originally I wanted a complete explant but my surgeon advised that this would completely deflate any volume and suggested that we go with a smaller mid profile 275cc silicone implant on both breasts instead and a inner breast lift on the inside muscle.
I have also opted for Vaser liposuction of my full abdomen, flanks included, and inner thighs. When I was born I had a digestive (intestinal) issue which left me with a large scar on my stomach - see pics. As I have grown and put on weight, the fat pockets into the dimples of the scar and the stitches (after all it was in 1988 that I had this intestinal surgery!) My surgeon is going to remove the excess fat and also graft some of the fat into rose dimples to attempt to smooth the area. This was not something I had considered until Dr Sorawuth suggested it at the consultation and I am really happy with the suggestion and the possibility to 'clean' up my stomachs overall appearance. I am nervous yet excited, and have tried to not read too many scary experiences and am just going with the flow.
I am 171cm and my weight is 71.5kg. I am a healthy 34 year old female. My surgeon is Dr Sorawuth Chu-Ongsakul and is the surgeon who also performed my first breast augmentation in 2014. I like Dr Sorawuths calming manner and easy vibe. He is an incredibly experienced plastic surgeon and is board certified in Thailand and I pray that my current surgery is as effective and as easy as my first. Wish me luck!

Sore but sooooo happy!

I was wheeled down to the operating area where I met my anaesthetist (I forget his name) but he was a living Angel - what a lovely man. He was calming and reassuring and told me both he and Dr Sorawuth are both medical lecturers at the university and have been working as a team for over 20 years. He was a kind and gentle persona and it made me feel completely relaxed. As we entered the operation room all the nurses were kind and soothing as I drifted off for a peaceful 5 hour slumber
I woke up in the recovery area and felt really quite nauseous- the nurses quickly reacted and gave me anti nausea medicine as I lied in a nice slumber before I was taken back to my hospital room. The after care nurses at Bumrungrad are absolutely fantastic and the whole operation works seamlessly - I had a very lovely private room, my husband could visit me whenever, meals were delicious and nutritious and help was always at hand.
I was in overnight and discharged the next day after a check over by Dr Sorawuth and a run down of the surgery. Everything went perfectly - I had a portion of fat grafted from my thighs to my scar site to fill the area before 2.5liters of fat was removed from mainly my flanks, abdomen and thigh area. My breast muscle pockets were made smaller to accommodate the smaller implant too. I was prescribed Tramadol, antibiotics, Tylenol and a sleeping tablet to help me through the nights.
A scheduled check up is planned in 6 days time. A complementary taxi was waiting with a porter to assist me with my luggage. Smooth sailing! Attaching some after pictures - apx 6 hours after I had come around from the general anaesthetic. Dr Sorawuth is a MAGICIAN.

Walking like a grandma
ceebeeteeAugust 15, 2023
It’s 60 hours after the surgery and I am up and about on my feet - today we went to a shopping outlet to pick up some supplies and extra compression garments. I was on my feet for 1.5 hours and I started to feel very slow and swollen so we retreated back to the hotel. I am walking quite slumped over and am very steady on my feet.
I am able to shower without issues - it’s very weird to touch my stomach as it feels like it’s not my skin and is also very very tender. My husband is being a trouper helping me in and out of my compression garments.
Drinking lots of water and as we are in Thailand, lots of yummy Tom Ka Gai soup and fresh fruits. Passing wind (a lot), lots of pee pees and my first poop today (which wasn’t a bad experience as others had said they had experienced - I was actually dreading it but didn’t have any issue). I have a CG that has an open area which doesn’t zip so I have been using sanitary towels in my knickers to cushion the area. So far no leakage or blood or drainage - perhaps they took care of that on the operating table?
I am truly feeling very positive and I think this might have been the best thing I could have ever done for myself.
