8 Days Post Op and I Cannot Believe How Flat My Tummy Is

Wow! My entire experience at Elite MD Spa and with Dr. B has been OUTSTANDING!
I initially scheduled consultations with three surgeons. The interview with Dr. B was arranged by his patient coordinator, Patricia, who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. I immediately felt a home and welcomed at the spa, from the front desk staff, Patricia and from Dr. B. After I met with Dr. B, I was so impressed, I cancelled my consultations with the other surgeons. I went in requesting a Tummy Tuck. I'm post-menopausal and the last two years, it seems like no matter what I did, I could not lose my tummy fat. I was devastated and stopped training, which of course means my tummy got bigger. :-( To my surprise, Dr. B did not recommend a TT, but instead recommended Vaser Lipo which his office specializes in. It is less aggressive than regular lipo offered by other surgeons. The VL also meant a less invasive procedure with significantly reduced down time.
I also appreciate that Dr. B and his staff don't view patients as a bodies in an assembly line, but they really care. They are friendly and extremely attentive.
Another HUGE pro for me is that Dr. B emphasizes his patient's commitment to life changes and proper nutrition for sustained results.
Finally, I'm impressed that Dr. B specializes in treatments for people of color and "ethnic skin." His wife, Dr. Sonia, actually authored a book on skin treatments for people of color.
Dr. B is in such high demand that the earliest appointment I could get with him was 2 months from my initial consultation.
I chose to have the procedure conducted in his office with only local anesthesia. I took prescribed medication immediately prior to the procedure, and I was out the ENTIRE TIME and I felt NOTHING! I have a low pain tolerance, so this is HUGE! A remember chatting before the procedure and then getting into my bed at home several hours later. I don't know what happened in between! LOL!
I am now 8 days post op and I CANNOT BELIEVE how FLAT my tummy is!!!!! Even with the swelling! I had a lymphatic massage about 6 days post-op (I highly recommend this) and was stunned at my tummy in the mirror after Rema worked her magic.
Now I have a jump off point and I am committed to nutritional lifestyle changes (highly recommended by Dr. B) to keep this tummy FLAT!
