Is It Still Too Early?

A collection of photos to show recovery process. Still questions to ask. feeling down about the way I still look. I am desperate to wear shorts, nice summer trousers, skirts or a dress but I still hate my legs.

Is 3 months still too early to see the full result? Am I being unrealistic in getting the legs I am dreaming of?  Will the structure of my knee / legs make this possible? Should I have gone for Hi-def VASER if I wanted the athlete look?

Not Sure, Would Like Some Advice

I had a consultation in February to discuss possible options to do something about my knees, thighs, buttocks and stomach. No matter how much exercise I did or how little food I ate I could never shift weight from my lower body. I never wear shorts, skirts or jeggings because I hate my legs with a passion. I took a photo of the legs I was hoping to achieve and was given good feedack including where the incisions would be. I meet with the booking administrator the same day. Nothing was going to stop me. I went back for a further consultation a few weeks later as well as my pre-med, then I was in for the procedure.

I was made to feel very comfortable and at ease. I had surgery 3 months before with the same clinic and I felt in safe hands. In theatre things happened smoothly but quickly and the next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery room. I was very groggy and a little bit confused as I had expected to be awake to see the procedure (I had watched it on youtube many times before and patients were awake and able to watch the fat go in to the cylinders) 4 hours later I walked out of the surgery, got on train and walked home. That evening I was uncomfortable and a little sore but had painkillers. The following day I had a massage booked. I was in a lot of pain, I had low iron levels and could hardly move. I got myself out of the compression garment, unwrapped all of the padding and was happily shocked at what I sore. Lots of bruising, blood and fluid but most importantly my stomach was flat and I could see the outline of my ribs The fluid lasted a few days but the pain and low energy etc went on for almost 2 weeks. I continued to have massage and my therapist was amazing both physically and mentally. I was beginning to think why had I done this to myself. My legs and buttocks looked at felt bigger that they were before the procedure. 6 weeks on and I was still quite sore but able to run with a compression garment. My legs still looked big though. I am now 12 weeks on. I am starting to see some change in my inner knees (still sore to touch) but my thighs are still so tight on the inside (can't sit with legs crossed) and I can see a uneven wave on my left leg. My stomach feels bloated and when I turn side ways on, my bum sticks out and I can hold a chunk of fat as if it is a ledge. I have been running 3 times a week for the last 3 weeks. Could this all still be swelling? Am I still to early in the process to see the end result?
