I'm going to Graceful Contours. Virtual consults as I'm 3 hrs away. Paperwork submitted & approved. Sent pics 2 days ago. I'm just waiting. It has taken awhile, I'll admit. My paperwork took over a week and a few calls as well as e-mails to get the approval. This week, I finally was told we could proceed and to send pics. I believe they have a very small office. So, it takes a little longer than expected and they need the extra push by you.

I'm considering the same areas, are you getting it done with a certified plastic surgeon? Or a med spa?

No. I'm going to someone who is licensed in vaser lipo only. Graceful Contours is in Norcross, GA. I'm driving from out of state. There are some plastic surgeons who provide it and do fat transfer as well. I've got quoted for my entire abdomen and flanks $2,699. Any other areas are $300 additional. This place cost wise is great and I've spoken to numerous people who have went there. Great results and pics. I just went to a plastic surgeon yday for something else for something small and the price was like $6,050.

A place here in Columbia, SC has done vaser to a few people I know. They quoted me $4,000. It all depends on where you go. I'm, sure that the price will be a lot higher where you live and even higher if there isn't many providing the Vaser. Good luck!

Where in Columbia quoted you 4K? That is pretty close to where I am

Total Body Solutions, but that was based on my pics that I sent in. I obviously didn't go there. I went to Graceful Contours in Georgia.

Supposedly that place is now closed.

Thank you.... how do you like your final results at the Georgia place?

I actually loved my results. I got my stomach and flanks done. I have to have a few small corrections. Nothing serious. Not a big deal or out of the ordinary. I'll be going again in March, which will be about 11 mos post op. My stomach is flat and looks great. No one notices the small problematic places except me. Lol

Awesome!! Are you just going to correct small imperfections or are you doing other areas?

I'm thinking about going to Graceful Countours...does their equipment look up to date?
User Avatar

I mean this is the most cordial way, I'm not really sure how you tell whether it's up to date or not considering I have nothing to compare it to.

I didn't see anything that looked antiquated or stuck out to me. It looked like all the same equipment both of my friends had done preceding my surgery. They put both of their surgeries on LIVE on Facebook. I'm going back next month.

Ok thank you..keep us posted..I'm trying to go in the spring..I was also wondering did it lift you tummy up some? I have a slight overhang and was hoping that it would improve that.

I've already went last April. I'm going to fix a imperfections that I'm the only one who really sees it. I've always been in good shape. I always had like a place above my pelvis where it wasn't as flat. Even when I was skinny as a rail. Although, I wasn't that big. Now those pics they have of me with markings, I look fat as heck. Lol Actually, those before and after pics they took look terrible and do no justice. One of the reasons, I never posted it. Lol So with all that being said, yes, he fixed that. Not sure how this other surgery will go. I'm actually more scared than I was with thr first surgery.

So, my appt is setup for April 20th at 930 with Dr. Sotomayer. That day, I had to pay the 20% of the total procedure as a deposit. Juliette has called in my antibiotic and sedative yday. Today, I went to LabCorp to have my blood work done. I have decided to try to find my own compression garments versus paying the $80-$120 they quoted me. So, I wanted to have at least 2 garments. One waist cincher/corsrt type that is a Faja Salome. I ordered a 2x and I can't even get the ends remotely near one another to fasten it. Ummmm, I'm not even big or "fat." It did say that it ran small, but I ordered a couple sizes bigger based on their chart. So, I have to send it back and I got a 5x. Lol OMG! I also ordered a compression garment similar to the one they recommend in a 3x. As it is supposed to be spandex. So, we shall see how all of those works. What a mess?!

I think you will be fine. I posted some other's before and after from GC. There was a difference. The compression garment is important. I'm in a large compression, but I'm a size 16 in women. It's probably 3 sizes too small, in which that's what they put me in at 185 lbs. I definitely suggest getting lipo foam. I just ordered a lipo board bc where thr zipper begins, it's causing a pretty bad indention line below my belly button.

All my labs came back fine from LabCorp. Juliette is a sweetheart. She doesn't check the email often, so, I have to call to the office to have them tell her to check it. Lol I am a bit concerned about the garments as far as in sizing. I'm not big, but I don't want them trying to put me in a size that is way too small. I have tried Shapewear before and I'm usually in the plus size for whatever reason. No one believes me when I tell them that. Lol I've bought a few for after the surgery in both in 2xl. She just sent me two before and afters as they have more in the office. They are attached.
