Thanks for posting the pictures. I'd say we are very much at a similar state of healing. My nipples are not so nicely round as yours. Mine have a kind of wonky, asymmetrical look to them. The centre of my nipples really stand upright though, and are very sensitive. Too sensitive actually!! I have taken to wearing nursing shields not because of leakage but just to protect those poor, overly sensitive nipples! Even the slightest brushing of a light fabric against them hurts. When I'm not wearing the elastic tube like tension bandage I was given (no surgical bra was given or recommended), I've taken to wearing a very tight, stretchy zip front bra just to compress the breasts and minimize the brushing of fabric against my nipples. I sure hope this over sensitivity is not permanent!

I have sensitivity on my nipples and the sides of my breast

I went from almost no sensitivity prior to surgery to "Wow, who opened a window". The super sensitivity gradually went away after a few weeks. :)

Steri strips came off last night!

Last night was the day for the Steri strips to come off. I have a small hole on my sternum next to my left breast that is healing because I'm giving it air. And my right breast drains only a little bit but you can see the yellow drainage spots under my right breast. Tell me what y'all think.

I had the same surgery date as you, and my healing is at about the same state. I still have a small amount of seepage under my left breast. It is coming from an opening that is slightly longer than yours. I think it will heal fine. I put Polysporin on the area twice daily to prevent infection. I can't say whether it is normal or not as I haven yet seen the PS. My checkup appointment is Friday. That's a little later than it would have otherwise been but I had an existing appointment for a consult on carpal tunnel surgery and we decided to do the breast follow up at the same appointment rather than booking another.

Okay cool. I'm a little worried but not much. I'm about to post pictures from last week so you can compare to the ones I just posted.
