WORTH IT
After losing about 150 pounds and having a large amount of leftover skin which caused me to be so insecure with my body and just absolutely not enjoy the fact that I had lost so much weight I went to Dr. Champ to see about having a panniculectomy. From the first day and through all the back-and-forth with the insurance company him and his team were so amazing they treated me like family. I've never felt more respected in a doctors office in my life. Every single person on his team made me feel so welcome, answered every single question you could ever imagine for me and just made me feel at home. The surgery itself was a lot easier than I thought including the recovery. I had to have one tube for four weeks but other than that was the easiest recovery you could hope for! Do you results are absolutely amazing I feel so good about myself he gave me The body that I truly worked for. He fought with my insurance company until they paid it in full! ALL OF IT!!!!! Thank you so much Doctor champ you'll never understand how amazing you are to me ??

Amazing, you've worked so hard and deserved this!
Did you have your belly button repositioned? I'm going to try my luck at insurance company covering panni... I've researched my benefits and they will cover it with proof of rashes and skin problems, which have been documented along with prescriptions for antifungal powders. Any more suggestions?

If you have any back pain make sure to report it because it can be caused by excess weight. My insurance made me do physical therapy before they would do surgery. Make sure you just keep pushing them. If they're anything like my insurance company they're gonna drag their feet and try not to pay for it. But with my doctor and I being so persistent they finally gave in. It did take a bit though. I had my initial appointment in September and didn't have surgery until march but I wasn't taking no for an answer!

Also yes my belly button was redone and I was told I might not even have one but you don't need it. I like my new one better but I honestly would've been happy without one just because my results were so worth it!

Totally! I'm not needing to wear a bikini everyday... just wanna be able to move better, dance a little, and not worry about shirts being too short that don't cover my flap!

That was absolutely my thing. That flap was the worst thing to me. I actually developed an eating disorder trying to get rid of it. I tried every wrap and diet pill and nothing will get rid of it but surgery. I was so uncomfortable in my own body because of it that I wouldn't even be naked in front of my husband. I always kept a shirt on or kept my pants pulled up high. It's no model like body now but the surgery truly changed my life. It gave me confidence that I'd never had. I would recommend it 100%

Like you I have a vertical scar from my belly button down thru my flap from an open hysterectomy a few years ago... I call it my "front butt" haha!!

Haha! That's what I called mine too! I would only wear large long baggy shirts

My surgeon actually asked right before he took me back while he I would prefer and I told him I'd prefer to keep it so he said no problem
