I wanted to consider a breast reduction for two...

WORTH IT
I wanted to consider a breast reduction for two reasons: my breast size was not proportionate to my body and I deserved and was ready for a "new me". I struggled with ill-fitting clothes and self image. While a DD bra in my 20's looked fine, it didn't as I aged and had breast-fed 3 kids. I always wondered if I would be a candidate for a reduction and lift. I was ready to commit to changing my body and am so happy I made the appointment for a consultation. I would recommend him to anyone for a consultation. Two of my close friends, based on my experience, have followed through and now are also happy patients!

Recovery: I took about three weeks off from work since I had the available leave. The swelling and shape takes awhile to heal and move towards a more permanent natural look (less scarring over time). The are taken approximately 5 months apart.

I have had a consultation with Dr. Champinera of the same clinic. He too was very nice, and seemed extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I have not heard much about Dr. Champinera but quite a bit of Dr. Gabriel. I would think they are both extremely good, and knowledgeable to be working in the same office? You look GREAT! I'm still waiting to hear from my insurance.

Good luck! I felt fortunate my insurance pre-authorized my claim. I've been responsible for my insurance out of pocket maximum for the year of $1450 plus deductible of $250. A great investment! My husband initially didn't see the same flaws and discomfort I carried around but has been enthusiastically pleased and surprised with the results. A win - win in my book! Thank you for complimenting my results. I honestly do not regret it and am happy to share with anyone my procedure experience.

Thank you for easing my slight anxiety. I'm sure once insurance says yes (hopefully) I'll be even more excited (anxious) my husband never brought it up but when I did, and I said I thought it was selfish he said "whatever makes you happy" so THEN I really started thinking which has led to me viewing Real Self DAILY! I am now also leaning towards a tummy tuck too, and am concerned about the healing time and pain.

I never spoke with the office about a tummy tuck. It just isn't in my family budget to even consider it. But I would have considered liposuction for my tummy area and now their office offers a procedure, I think called Vanquish? I'm not sure what your shape and weight goal is, but maybe investigate that. I understand it to be non-surgical and non-invasive. One thing I will say I'm glad I did is I tried to lose any extra weight I could so my results were better before my procedure. It made me more conscious of diet and exercise instead of being lazy about taking care of myself. I figured if I was willing to surgically improve my appearance, I owed it to myself to work on my other small problem areas. I certainly felt more comfortable in work out clothes with reduced breast. Recovery time: have someone around who will cater to you a bit. My Mom was very willing to help my husband shuttle kids and make meals so I could truly rest. Your body will need some down time to heal.
Best of luck to you in whatever you choose!

My case if very similar to yours ... age, size, kids and all. I have selected my PS, now I have to wait, my surgery will not be until spring 2016 - your after surgery pic (excellent results !) looks very much like what I would like to achieve - would you mind sharing what size are you now ?

I'm now a 34 c but some d cups still fit depending on the bra. Good luck with your surgery. I don't think you'll regret it. Thank you for commenting : )

Thank you so much for replying ! Really looking forward to it, but the wait is killing me :-( I plan to post my own experience closer to the surgery date.
