10 weeks post op

Still loving my results. I wear scar tape almost always. The scars have started to become hard in some areas and sometimes itchy and sore, but for the most part, no pain.

3 weeks post BL

I feel great. The 2nd week was the most painful so far. A lot of tinges of pain throughout the day all over my breasts. Likely nerves. This week has been much better. I am still sore in some areas but overall this entire process has been very minimal on pain. I am back in normal bras with underwire as I am wearing silicon scar strips and they provide a barrier between the bra and incision lines (will post a pic of how I am wearing the scar strips later). I must say..... I did get used to the look of my breasts while swollen. They were huge! Now that they are no longer swollen I did have a moment of disappointment. Silly I know. My breasts really do look amazing. This was such a life changer for me. For the first time in, I think my entire life, I have been able to look in the mirror and not feel like I need to lose weight, or change this or that. I feel good about myself!

5 days post

Just a pic to update what today looks like. Swelling is going down and the shape looks great. Pain is maybe a 1 or 2, just depends on how active I have been. Went out a few times this weekend and was fine but easily exhausted. My left nipple is highly sensitive while my right has little feeling. Not worried about that though. Also, the healing itch has set in! Another post op appointment tomorrow so I will update after that.

Dr. Huang is amazing! She is so personable, caring, and smart. The first time I had a consult with Dr. Huang was in 2008. This as after I had also had a consult with another who's plan for me was a lift with anchor scar and implant in same procedure. When I met with Dr. Huang she said she did t do lifts and implants at the same time and she also thought that I would be really happy with my result of lift only and would end up not feeling that I needed an implant. However, she also did warn me that if there was any possibility that I would have more children in the future to wait on the lift. So because I was only 23/24 at the time (already had two kids), I took her advice and waited. I did end up having one more baby at 30, and now here I am again, ready for the lift! I knew instantly that I wanted to see Dr. Huang again, so I set up another consult. Her idea for me was exactly the same as it was 10 years ago. She was very complimentary of me and told me she thinks I am a perfect candidate for lift only as I have plenty of my own breast tissue. She also does a lollipop lift which appealed to me as there is less scaring and I love the look of the results for this procedure others that I have seen. She was also REALLY excited for me to have the procedure done. I just can't say enough great things about her. Also the staff at the clinic were all amazing as well. The nicest front desk staff, MA, office manager, RN's, etc.... they've been amazing!
