35 Year Old Mother ROCKS a Mommy Makeover and Brazilian Butt Lift - Vancouver, WA

WORTH IT$17,000
Let me start by how absolutely thrilled I am with my surgical results. I went in for a Mommy Makeover consult where I knew I wanted the abdominoplasty with liposuction and breast lift with augmentation. I was super nervous to go in for my initial consult, but everyone in his office was so kind and put me at ease the entire time. I was laughing and joking (while naked) during my pre-op photos. Dr. Gabriel has an amazing way of being both incredibly professional yet comfortingly relaxed.

After hearing my wishes for my body and evaluating and discussing my surgical options, Dr. Gabriel offered to inject the lipoed fat from my flanks into my (very flat) derriere. At first I scoffed at the idea, but Dr. Gabriel promised me I would not end up with a "J-Lo" butt. I went home to consider this new option. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of moderate or realistic sized BBL reviews and pictures out there (see my jeans photo). Everything is pretty extreme. But I decided to "get it all" and proceeded with my pre-op phase of surgery.

There was a good amount of info given to me regarding what equipment, supplements, garments, and other recovery needs I would need to obtain before surgery. I felt quite prepared going in to my big day. Melissa and Rachel are wonderful resources of information and teachings, in addition to Dr. Gabriel. All of the Dr. Gabriel staff are amazing. They are so gentle, kind, and professional. Every nurse is so patient and helpful. Walking in the door, I am greeted by the lovely receptionists, who remember my name, and recall details of previous conversations I've had with them. Great personal touch.

My recovery has been so smooth. Any little need or concern I have had, I call the office and they are able to help me, or even get me in for a swift appointment. I will continue to regularly visit with Dr. Gabriel for scar management (all included) throughout the next year. I am so thankful for choosing Dr. Gabriel to do my surgery.

I love my new body. I love how my clothes fit. I love feeling confident every day and not being consumed with self ridicule. I love being curvy but tightened in just the right places. Thank you, Dr. Gabriel.

That's great! Thank you for sharing your experience. Do you have any tips for others about to go through a mommy makeover?

Tips: -Borrow a walker. It will be your best friend for a couple days. -Whatever laxative you prefer, use it. I was recommended Dulcolax which is so harsh and can be painful without results or then cause rebound constipation. I had some help from my naturopath in this matter and it made a world of difference to me. There are many choices but it's important to have a plan ahead of time. -Compression wear feels so good. Use it as long as you can. It will help "zip you up" and keep everything supported when your own muscles are weak. -Find your recovery person(s) and use them. Don't feel guilty about taking this time for yourself to recover. Your other "mom" duties will resume soon enough. Let someone take care of you and your responsibilities for a week or more. -Get Netflix.
You look amazing!!! Dr. Gabriel is AMAZING!!
You look great ! I'm doing the same in July , just wondering how was your recovery ? How did lay down to rest with both a bbl and tummy tuck ?
Alma12, congrats on getting your surgical date. The BBL was never something I thought I would do and I LOVE it. There was no problem at all laying on my backside. In fact, I exclusively lied on my back. It did not hurt. The only time I really had any discomfort on my bum was when I tried to resume running. It just felt strange... like someone running behind me and slapping my rear over and over. Weird I know but really no big deal. And it's better now. As far as abdominoplasty, it was a little painful, but within reason. I think I had fair expectations of what it would feel like. I had plenty of pain meds. I've had 2 c-sections and an abdominal hysterectomy so my incisional pain was minimal (dead nerves). My flanks (from lipo) and back is what hurt the most. My back would feel weak, tired, like it didn't want to hold me up any more. That's when I knew I needed more pain meds and then it was very tolerable. I also used a little Arnica lotion on my flanks (never on my incisions) to help with the bruised, tender lipo areas. Good luck to you. I found it helpful to watch some YouTube videos to help prepare myself about expectations and learn about recovery. I advise to filter out the drama that often accompanies the people who are posting the videos. Don't get caught up in their emotion, just listen to their experiences. Good luck.
Did you have to get a special pillow since you couldn't lay your butt down ?
No. There was no special pillow. My surgeon said it was fine to lay on my backside.
