38 Years Old Active Male

I am a 38yr old male, following a good diet and workout routine for the past 5-6yrs. I have been able to reduce my bad fat and add muscle mass, but like most people have not had a lot of luck at shaking up the fat around my abdomen and flanks. So after a lot of consideration and careful research I decided to go for Vanquish ME as opposed to Cool sculpting.

On May 8th I had the first Vanquish treatment, I have been told there will be 6 sessions 45mins each and they break it down to 30+15mins. The first 30mins were for upper abdomen and sides and last 15mins for lower abdomen and lower sides.

The treatment itself was totally pain and discomfort free, it just felt warm. They left a fan on which helped but I asked them to turn it off half way through to experience how it felt. I fell asleep at some point ?. There were 3 occasions when I felt hot spots on either sides which the technician was quickly able to adjust. For record I drink a lot of water on a regular basis, at least 2 liters every day and I am told that is supposed to help.

At the end of the treatment the technician shared the readings. During the 30min session my body absorbed 172 units of heat out of the 199 units that was discharged by the machine. During the 15min session it absorbed 142 out of 198 units. They say it should be over 150 units of absorption, but the technician said not to pay too much attention to those numbers since my tuning was 75 to 100% in both rounds which is above the desired 70% tuning. I did feel less heat during the 15mins, not sure if it was because the pates were farther away from my lower abdomen or because my body was already warm by then and hence could not feel much difference. FYI – % tuning indicates your bodies (or fat cells) responsiveness to the heat, higher the better obviously.

After about an hour after the treatment I did feel a mild burning sensation around the treated area which lasted for an hour or so. Later at night I was quite warm and had trouble sleeping for about 30mins, but eventually I was able to sleep well.

I shall update this post when I see some results and post pictures then.

No problems or side effects what so ever. I was able to resume my normal activities for the very next day. All good so far.

Today was my final session of Vanquish, the 6th one.

I felt a lot less heat than previous 5 weeks. In 6 weeks i have not seen ANY difference. They weighed and measured me each week and there has been no reduction in size nor any visible difference. I have been advised to wait for few more weeks as they say it can take couple of weeks after the last treatment.

Will update this post in 4 weeks but i'm a bit disappointed at this point. The only good part was i had ZERO side effects or downtime.
