So today is one day after my first CoolSculpting...

So today is one day after my first CoolSculpting appointment. I saw Kim at 8 West Clinic in Vancouver.
I have battled my weight for the last 7-6 years due to unhappiness and self medicating (poisoning) with food and alcohol. I call my family 'lollipop people' because all of our weight goes to our mid section, and we have little legs and very little booties:/
I went extreme a few years ago (against the advise from my surgeon) and got liposuction to try to get me on track.
Now I have kicked my alcohol problems, eating clean food, and exercising regularly. BUT while I am happy with most of my body, my nod section effects my self esteem the most. Now, I am not the ideal CoolSculpting candidate- that is why I need two sessions, and I neeeeed to continue my healthy eating and exercising to reach my goal of 130 lb (I am 165 now).
The 8 West Clinic is clean and crisp, the staff are all lovely. Kim was understanding, explained things well, and compromising.
After the pride gulping pictures, we went into the room. Be prepared to be bored and have your bottom hurt lol if you get three big applicators- it takes 45 min each time :/ bring a snack, a drink, and have your phone charged and bring a book. Brig a second pair of underpants and pants- as the gel will get over everything!
The gel is put on to protect your skin, the applicator is put on and supported by pillows. The first applicator didn't hurt, and heck I didn't even find it cold (I am Canadian lol). The massage after didn't bother me at all. The second applicator was quite tender, I am not sure why. The third was my upper abdomen, the suction was more intense- but still comfortable, and heck after I liked the massage!

Today I am not bruised at all- but I rarely ever bruise! If you bruise easy, you probably will. I am barely tender, not really numb (but I have a lot of 'cushion') .

I won't see results for quite some time, and that is okay :) my second appointment is near the end of July- I'll keep you updated!

Day 2

Even though it is only two days since my treatment, I feel that I can see a slight difference already. Today I did notice more aches at work, every once and a while I would rub my belly. I also noticed the slight numbers- almost like how you feel coming out of dental freezing. I will take photos at week two to see more of a difference. I am also continuing to eat well and exercise :)

A bit over a week results

The pictures show a subtle change- my flap (from previous lipo) looks smaller, and my upper roll is smaller so you can see my belly button more! I am happy already, and have switched to wearing large shirts, not xlarge :)
