I have had small breasts my whole life (36A) and it never really bothered me as they were a nice-enough shape. That is until I had kids (3) all of whom I breast fed. As you can see from the photos this has left my boobs deflated and asymmetrical. I probably would have lived with it except for the fact I got divorced 6 months ago and the idea of taking my top off in front of man fills me with DREAD! So I decided to have a BA to give me the confidence to be with someone.

The surgeon measured me for diameter and recommended silicone and under the muscle with a lift on one side but left the selection of size between his patient co-ordinator and I. She originally suggested 270cc medium-profile but after we tried one a couple of sizes we settled on 240cc low profile.

So here's my question: has anyone out there had such a small implant and if so, were you satisfied with the result?
Large breasts are not for me and a number of my gf's who have had BAs have commented they wish they had gone a little smaller. That said, I have a boyish build but broad shoulders and and a strong (read barrel) ribcage/chest and this is costing me CDN$12,000 (I'm in Canada) so I don't want to regret going too small. Is there much difference between 270cc and 240cc in the result? I am so stuck!! I'm booked in 5 days so would really appreciate any advice.

Hi, I was a 36A my whole life too.. And after 3 kids I was asymmetrical too.. How tall are you? I am a tall girl at 5'9" and love the 400cc, 425cc that I got. They fit my body perfect.. No one would ever know I even got them unless I play them up.. Being so broad you may want to go bigger because you want to make sure to fill your chest cavity so you get a little cleavage. I originally was planning on only getting 350cc but after talking to 4 surgeons and a lot of research I am sooooo glad I went bigger. I am 2 months post op and so happy.. I have pics to update with but I haven't had a chance yet.. I will soon! Also I didn't want the scars from a lift even though 3 out of the 4 recommended a lifton one side and am happy with the result. One does sag a little more but I would rather have that than scars.. Just my personal choice. I figured if I wasn't happy I could always go and get it lifted later..

Waterlillie, would love to see your update pics. What is your breast width and weight? I am 5'9" too. Definitely not going as big as you but it helps to see others my height. I should look at your review... off to do that. :)

Hi. I am facing a similar dilemma. I am quite tall - 5'9" 130 lb - and have breasts that appear smaller than yours. I wear a 34A padded bra but do not fill it. After bf'ing 3 kids and being done having kids, I have decided to get a BA (despite my close friends and family not really thinking I should). I also am very athletic and prefer a natural/conceivable look. So I want to keep them small but am afraid I am going too small for how tall I am. I was thinking 275 cc but my doctor measured me (BWD 12 cm) and we tried on sizers (two times!) and my doctor really thinks 250 cc. So we ordered Sientra Moderate Projection round textured 255 cc. But I cant stop worrying that I should go a little bigger since I am so darn tall. So called the office and had them also order the 285 cc (next size up). I honestly cannot make my mind up. Your surgery is this coming week? Have you decided? Interested to hear. Best of luck!!

So I just had a BL/BA and a reduction on the right, due to a cup size difference. I used to a/b before kids, then 3 kids later weight gain and weight loss I was a c/d. I ended up with 310cc hp. So I am now a full d cup. I read if u r a a/b my size of implant will bring u up two sizes and if ur a larger cup size u only get a 1 cup size increase. Or is that backwards?? I never tried sizers, I let my ps decide, I just described what I wanted, I can still fit in my old bras. A lot of people say they wish they would if gone bigger.....

Hi Indecisive! OMG - I am identical to you in height, weight, and droopy boobie size, and almost same age - also athletic frame! I too, absolutely do not want to be too large- That is my greatest fear. I am scheduled for surgery this coming Friday! What I can tell you is this - trust your surgeon if you have properly conveyed your wishes. I went to several consults, and selected a PS who I absolutely trust to give me the result I am looking for, which is a small C. ! We reviewed a lot of pictures, and talked about it a lot. Based on my specific shape and breast tissue, she felt 250 -300cc mentor Mod+ would give me a nice, natural, not too big result. She will make the final decision during the procedure as too what looks best. I will remind her again to err on the side of conservative right before surgery. I am certain I will not wish I were bigger. What I have learned though is that no two sets of boobs are alike. Even though we are almost identical in size, weight, etc... Your particular breast shape may need something different!

I am 5'2 105 pounds and got 225hp over the muscle. They looked very natural and were great with all the working out, but now that I have capsular contracture on one side, I will get a revision and go bigger. I still need a push-up bra to feel good about them, so I figured under the muscle I want at least 350. If I wouldn't need the revision, tho, I would have stayed with this size. It's nice to have volume compared to what I had before. You really need HP, though, if you have sagging and are going with small implants.
