Day 4- Post Op
PAIN - Trying to ween off the painkillers so the last one I took was yesterday at 5:30 pm but I woke up very tight and sore so I took one T3 (8:30am). I've been taking two every 6 hours since Day 2 Post op.
SHOWERING - I tried to take a shower in the evening of Post op day 2. My boyfriend is the best, he offered to help. I didn't want to take my bra off yet, so it was challenging to say the least. So we had to avoid getting the bra wet AND my lash extensions wet. We don't have a hand held shower head, so we thought to use a pitcher. My poor boyfriend. Purple shampoo, everywhere. Meanwhile letting him know, in a raised voice that I couldn't stand like that for long, and my lashes are getting wet. My back was so strained! And I was so bloated and naked. oh boy, it was not a good sight.
SLEEPING in a reclining position is so uncomfortable! I have the snoogle rolled up and a pillow on top of it,it was comfortable for the first little while but became uncomfortable fast. My boyfriend thought of an idea to use the couch cushions. it was so much better! We used some pillows and put the couch cushion on top, it was much more sturdy and comfy. In the middle of the night, I turned over and saw my bf in his sleep adjusting the snoogle between his legs. Did he just want the snoogle?!
BLISTER and BRUSING - I generally bruise easily, so it wasn't surprising when I took a peek, I found bruises. I contacted my doctor and she assured me that it's common and if it really swells up then to call her. Then just last night, I found blisters where the tape meets in between my chest. I was freaking out!! There's no incision there so wtf?? I'm guessing it's from the friction from tape and skin. So I peeled the tape off and cut off where it was causing irritation.
Today is Saturday, I'm back to work (desk job) on Monday, my post-op appt is on Wednesday.

Day 2 - Post Op
So I was feeling good yesterday, I went to the mall and walked around. I was fine until the 3rd hour, I began to have shortness in breath. I think I overdid it. Both my sides feel like they're swollen but haven't taken off my bra yet. I am a bit nervous to be honest. I will spend today resting more although I feel fine just super tight and heavy. And I need a hair wash!!!
