Expected 20-24 months treatment time. I want straight teeth with a proper midline. I was extremely surprised they recommended me for Invisalign considering how crowded my teeth are, however the Dr is a clinical instructor for Invisalign, so why not. I'm planning on going longer between Dr visits, so Invisalign is really looking like a worthwhile option.

Clincheck approved Jan 22
Westcoast10January 22, 2018
Went in to see my clincheck today. I only needs one extraction on the lower jaw! One lower incisor, with tons of IPR. It appears that there’ll be attachments on pretty much all the visible teeth.
- 45 trays
- estimated 2-3+ refinements
- getting an Orthopulse, because why not
- Dr talked very fast today. But I’m fine with their bedside manner. Treatment coordinator is great at answering all my questions and concerns.

Day 2: 6 days post extraction and 2 days in
Westcoast10March 2, 2018
I got my trays yesterday afternoon. I am 6 days post extraction and the extraction site is healing pretty well.
I will wear 2 trays for 10 days each, until my next appointment where I will get attachments and some IPR. They will polish between a few teeth to make some space.
I'm getting used to the trays, and practicing talking to myself a lot so when I have meetings at work, it will be less awkward. I will not cheat.
The trays are becoming harder to take out, so I will be definitely picking up some sort of pick tool to help me take the trays out once I get attachments.
I've already cheated once, ON THE FIRST DAY, pouring coffee directly back into my mouth, and chasing it with lots of water.
I'm thrilled and grateful to be on this journey to straighter teeth.
