Hi. I went in for a consultation a couple of years...
Hi. I went in for a consultation a couple of years ago with two different doctors in my city (Dr. Buonassisi and Dr. Denton. The first set of consultation photos I have posted here are from Doctor Buonassisi and the second set are from Dr. Denton.)
I like my consultation photos with both doctors. Dr. B's photos show a bit more extreme results (because I asked him to show me that) and Dr. D's photos show a slightly more conservative approach. I will likely be going ahead with Dr. B in any case. I am still deciding on how conservative or extreme I want to go.
I am now getting more serious and saving up money for the procedure. I am also considering the idea of getting a lip lift along with rhinoplasty because I feel like this could improve the balance of my facial features and improve the look of my lips. I will be booking a second consultation with Dr. B to discuss, again, rhinoplasty as well as talk to him about a lip lift. In my rhinoplasty consultation with Dr. B, I asked him to lift my nose up a bit more than what he originally suggested. Now I am not sure if I want it raised that much. I would like to see a couple different options of what he could do with my nose (more conservative vs. more change). I think the consultation photos are beautiful, but I do like my nose now enough as it is to not go for as extreme a change. I'm soul searching, asking myself how extreme or how minimal I want to go with this. I think I am already uniquely beautiful and I don't want to lose the beauty I already have, but I am serious about refining those features I already love and being honest with the changes I would like to see.
These are my rhinoplasty goals:
- to open up my face and my smile
- to freshen and revitalize my appearance
- to reduce the "hook" appearance of my nose, when my face is resting as well as smiling
- to highlight and refine the already existing beauty of my nose
- to create a look that is natural, feminine, elegant, youthful and "me"
