Visible Skin Damage, Poor Clinical Handling, and Inadequate Oversight from Medical Director
I received a PRP facial at The Skin Agency Beverly Hills and experienced visible hyperpigmentation immediately following the treatment. The lines of demarcation match the exact zones where PRP was administered -- a clear indicator of improper technique or needle depth, especially concerning given my melanated skin. I've been receiving PRP monthly or bi-monthly for over four years at multiple top clinics with no prior issues.
What's worse than the outcome was the handling.
For two weeks, I was dismissed with a "wait-and-see" approach -- despite sending clear photos showing damage. It wasn't until I submitted screenshots of past PRP appointments and images from the previous four months that anyone took me seriously. When I finally pushed to speak with someone medical, I was scheduled with Dr. Mohammad Khosravi, the clinic's CEO and listed Medical Director.
Dr. Khosravi reviewed the photos and told me to "use the cream and wait three weeks." No referral, no escalation, no tailored protocol. He offered a single prescription cream and echoed the same passive response the clinic had been giving me for two weeks -- while my face worsened.
This is not the standard of care you should expect from any clinic, let alone one offering medical-grade facials. The Skin Agency has shown a lack of urgency, clinical oversight, and accountability. I've now filed with the Medical Board of California and other regulatory bodies. My skin has been visibly altered, my trust in this clinic is gone, and I've had to delay personal and professional obligations due to the visible damage.
I would not trust Dr. Khosravi for medical guidance, nor plastic surgery or any kind of medical support for that matter.
If you have melanated skin -- or expect proper care after a procedure -- I urge you to reconsider.
Documentation available upon request.
