I was able to sleep in my bed after sx. I used a recliner during the day. I had a plastic tin with all my necessities. Meds, hand sanitizer, water, crackers... Congrats and happy healing!!!

Did it hurt when they took your tubes out?

Is it normal to do some bleeding from the drains?

Yes its normal. It doesn't hurt to remove the drain tubes. I removed mine. You just feel some pressure for about a second then they slide out easily. Please just relax and think positively that helps a lot with your healing.

I had a hard time getting out of bed so my recliner was a life saver! Also, I'd get snacks, high protein and fiber, to have close to your sleeping or hanging out area. I pretty much stayed in my bedroom for the first 4 or 5 days. Good luck. Rest up, hydrate and eat healthy.
