Save yourself the headache

I was searching for an English speaking gynecologist while I was visiting Istanbul. I found her through a google search. Her office is in the poshest part of town. Has a very sweet staff that welcome you. The doctor herself speaks perfect English. And won't try to sell you on things you don't need, not like other Turkish doctors who will see a foreign patient and try to get them to spend as much as possible. She did the exam and suggested thermiva or vaginaplasty. I was scared at first of having surgery. So I opted for thermiva. I immediately noticed a difference in how smooth my skin felt down there. About 5 months later when I was back in town, I opted to go all in and have the vaginaplasty with Dr. Burcu. I don't remember anything other than waking up and having the medical assistants come in and bring me food and I think it was a ginger ale. They helped me dress and I went back to my hotel and slept. The next few days I had no pain, more just anxiety as I was afraid to move thinking I'd pop a stitch. It was all in my head. I healed rather quickly, barely took my paid meds. Went to see her 3 days later before my flight. Everything looked good she said. As the next few weeks went by I noticed purple stitches dissolving, they'd fall out in the shower. I was alarmed at first and texted the doctor. She replied right away and put me at ease that it was all normal. I'm now a year out and couldn't be happier. And wish I did this years ago. Healing was a breeze. I def recommend her. She knows what she's doing. And is an all around great surgeon with excellent bed side manner.
