No more tape!

Just came from my post op, tape is off for good, he gave me a sample of NewGel that he recommends for scars. I am cleared to exercise and anything i want that is comfortable. Still a little boxy and he's just watching the shape and scars from here on out. Next appointment is in 3 weeks. I'll take and update pictures tomorrow since I'm 5 weeks post surgery.

3 weeks post op... Got my first bra

So I got tired of the sports bra, feeling trapped inside of it, went and finally got a regular bra, no wire, no push up, plain Jane bra. It took a lot of trying on since i don't know what size i am or will be. Totally an interim bra. Its comfortable but remind me of a training needs, which i guess it sort of is. Settled on 38B.

Two and a half weeks, more pictures between tape changes

So, i got brave and instead of just changing the tape after a shower i took it off, showered and then changed it. I know it sounds dumb, but I'm still afraid of the shower and the water hitting my incisions. Even though i know that some of my skin has already healed back together, i am sort of using the tape as a security blanket. I got some new pictures today of my healing progress with no tape. I am also going to try to find some other comfortable sports type bra to wear... Something that will make it leads likely that my healing nipples will take someone's eye out.
