Vbeam for capillaries now left scarred

About 9 months ago I went to a dermal clinic in Kew Melbourne and met with a dermal clinician who seemed very confindent in her vbeam treatments and assured me I would a nice result for some general redness in my cheeks.
The clinic was modern, there were good reviews and she even wore a white coat to seem professional. I thought it was a simple enough procedure and went ahead. Now I have had lasers before but this one was really painful, still my mind said she is the professional she knows what she is doing. I pushed through at the end I was strange dot patterns on my face that were dark red like she had gone a number of times in the same spots. Within hours my face swelled up to over double its size and I got weeping and blistering. At this point I was worried and felt somthing was wrong. The clinician told me to just moisterise and got am affliated doctor to perscribe me antibiotics. My healing took well over a week. Over the coming months I saw my skin texture was not the same. I went to a couple of dermatologists and all told me the same. The treatment was overly agressive and had burned me. They said my cheek now had atrophic scarring resulting from damage to the reticular dermis. This was devastating to my as I always had nice skin and no scars before and now my world was shuttered. Now I can't stop looking at my skin in different lighting as certain lighting really highlights the indentations and the cheek is such an obvious area. Even make up can't hide it. And I have to wear heavy concealer to try and fill in the dents. This has been a nightmare!! Really has affected my confidence and quality of life.
Have done 4 dermapen sessions and spent a lot of money on skincare and dermatologist appointments. The hardest part is hearing that scars are permanent. Feel really upset that this person could just ruin my life this way. Be careful who you choose to do your lasers. Will continue with professional microneedling and add factor 4 prp. And hope that those scars get some lifting. And I can feel somewhat normal again!
