It's been a while!

Ok, so it's been a while but it's because I've been having so much fun. We just got back from our Spring Break trip to the mountains and beach. We managed to walk and hike over 22 miles in the last 4 days. I couldn't have done that pre-surgery 4 months ago....nor would I have allowed a photograph in my bathing suit, but I do now! I'll update with more photos and weight updates soon. I hope everyone is doing well.

174.8 lbs - 9 weeks Post Op

I am down roughly -60 lbs since I started this journey and down -30 since the day of surgery. I have posted some updated before and afters. The only pics I see a real difference in are the side views. My clothes are getting pretty baggy. My 12 y/o keeps calling me granny butt because my pants are so loose in the rear. All in all everything is going smoothly. I don't tolerate non toasted breads that well which is a good thing and I'm craving proteins and greens. The thought of sweets just isn't appealing. My loss week to week seems to be slowing which is kind of a bummer but reading others RS posts I expected it so trying to not feel defeated. Shorts story is I'm doing great and have no regrets!

Sorry! 179.5 lbs - 7 weeks Post Op.

I want to start by apologizing for being MIA. The holiday craziness took over and I just didn't stop long enough to follow through with my RS'ers. If I missed any of you questions or responses I am sorry. Please don't hesitate to repost them. Ok, so the parts you are really interested in, I am down -54.5 lbs since I started this journey and down -24.5 since the day of surgery. Overall still feeling awesome! Now that the holidays are over I have time to get back to the gym. I think that will kick start the weight loss. I sort of feel like I should be much further along but my Dr assured me that I'm beyond expected results for this stage. I promise I will post updated pictures ASAP.

I haven't met him yet but have heard good things about the practice in general.
