6 Weeks Post BA and So Happy!

Hi ladies! I'm about 6 weeks post BA now and doing great! I feel just fine and can do any workout I want, except attempting a push up does NOT feel very good, so I'm going to avoid those for a long time, probably. I think I'm going to avoid all workouts that specifically target my pecs in the future just in case.
I'm trying to keep up with my daily exercises to keep the scar tissue from forming too closely around the implants. I'm doing ok with them, but I'm not great at doing them five times a day!! Bra shopping continues to be really fun. :) I still think they look bigger in real life than they do in pictures. I'M SO HAPPY WITH THE SIZE! They are perfect. They give me nice balance on top under clothes and I finally don't look like a boy at the gym. And naked they look plenty big enough.
I am still surprised that I'm about a 34DD, but I prefer the way the 32 band fits over the 34, so 32DDD is the sweet spot. If I had gone any bigger, I would have a harder time finding bras because I would need a more rare size and would probably have to spend more to get the right bras. Again, I'm so happy with the size!!!! And my boobs are decently soft and squishy, but hopefully they'll get softer than what they are now.
Overall, I think they look natural, except for when I raise my arms up. That's when you can see that I have implants because they look really round on the sides. But even that has started to look better and more natural as time passes, so I'm optimistic that when I raise my arms 4 or 5 months from now it won't be very noticeable! I hope... And I hope my scars start fading more soon...
I hope all of you are doing well either with recovery or with anticipation of getting it done! It's kind of a big change but so far I'm really happy I did it. I finally feel feminine now, since having tiny boobs was the one thing I couldn't ever get over. I don't mind a little cellulite and some stretch marks on my thighs, but a tiny chest was more than I could handle. Thank goodness I did something about it!
I've posted pictures to document changes, but I can't really see differences between 1 month and now. I'll probably post a 2 month update, 3 month update, and a 6 month update, since changes won't be significant from here on out.

One Month! And Bra Sizing!!!

I hit one month post BA yesterday and I took a few pictures to show my status. I also went to Nordstrom and Victoria's Secret two days ago to get sized since my surgeon said to start wearing underwire bras at one month. I'll get sized at his office during my one month post op on Monday, but I couldn't wait!

Nordstrom AND VIctoria's Secret sized me as a 34DD or 32DDD! WHAT??? I had been worried this whole time that I wouldn't fully fill a 34D (which would be about a 2 cup size change), much less a 34DD. I started at 36A/34B (the 36 was obviously the wrong band size since I lost weight last year), so going from a 34B to 34DD is a 3 cup size change. I'm baffled how I got 3 cup sizes out of 375/415cc...but I'm not complaining! We'll see what they say my bra size is at my appointment in a couple days, but I doubt it will be different.

I came away from VS with two bras in 32DDD because it fit so comfortably and there were more bras available in that size over the 34DD since they're having their semi-annual sale. I literally had to fight back tears in the check out line because I was so relieved and happy! Bra shopping has turned from the worst, most depressing thing ever to the most fun I've ever had shopping!!!

The black bra is Body by Victoria and I'm IN LOVE. It is so comfotable, fits perfectly, and looks really nice. The gray bra is their t-shirt bra in a push-up. As you ladies know, our pictures always make us look smaller than we are in real life. I look pretty huge in those bras, especially the push-up, in real life. I'm not complaining because despite my bra size, my boobs are not actualy too big! They look great under clothes and are not in the way at all. Having boobs is the best.

3 Weeks

I took these pictures this past Friday (my three week anniversary) but have only gotten around to posting now. Things are going well. I'm feeling pretty good and sleeping just fine, including on my side a little bit. I still have sensitivity in my right nipple and the skin below it as well...hopefully that goes away soon because I've had it for a couple of weeks and it's really annoying.

The tape over my incision finally came off so I can see my scars! They look pretty good so far. If this is how they look three weeks later, I'll bet they'll be pretty invisible in 6 months.

I can tell the slope on each is slightly better. My left boob is still the good, more obedient, better looking one, but that's always been the case. I'm liking the size for me a lot. They're not as big as other women's on here, but I think they're a good size for what I was hoping for! I can start wearing underwire bras in ONE WEEK!!! I'm SO excited to get fitted and wear cute bras soon!
