After years of pregnancies and nursing babies, it definitely took a toll on my body! I have always been very conscious about my weight and staying healthy and fit and feel like I did everything in my power to keep my body in the best shape I could. Regardless of my efforts the body can only take so much and some things are not in our control to change. At first I felt guilty, like I was being vain or selfish for wanting this but then when I really started to think about what was motivating me to want to do this, I realized that it was because how I wanted to view and feel about myself. This wasn't about how I wanted everyone else to look at me, it was about how I wanted to see me, the woman that still remained under the stretched out skin and what I came to call my belly bagel! ( Come on ladies, you know what I'm talking about) That loose skin that seems to gravitate around your belly button whenever you sit or bend the wrong way! So I scheduled my Tummy Tuck for August!

I think you look fabulous already but I understand working so hard on your health and body and not seeing the same results as you did before having babies! I am in the research stage of my journey but I will be following your progress! I am sure everything will go well! Sending best wishes!

Wow! 7 kids and I think you look amazing in your before photos! :) I'm of similar size (5'3", 102lbs with 3 daughters) and my skin is so stretched out. I never got stretch marks, just loose skin and diastasis recti. I'm scheduled for my TT on November 8th.
Your after photos are looking great! Your belly button looks very natural.

Good for you! I was the same, no stretch marks, just skin and diastasis! Good luck! You won't regret it

I totally get the feeling of not being "in your own body" and not looking the way you want. You're spot on that it's not about how anyone else feels it's how you feel. That being said, I think you're nuts and you look phenomenal for having those many babies. You must have been in supermodel status shape. There are women that pay to look how you look in your before pictures. Hope your procedure turns out exactly how you want and you heal well and feel better in your body.

You do look amazing both before and after. Like you, I feel the same. I thought I was being vain at first, but he more I lose the less happy I feel with myself. I see that no exercise can fix what I have going on lol. I’m 5’1, mother of 4, last 2 are twins. I did want to ask you question, how soon after the surgery did you apply the cream for your scar? that looks fantastic. I can barely see it.

I believe it was about a week but I’m not entirel Sure. I know it was once the steri strips came off and I would use It mornings and night and apply firm pressure as I messaged it in.

It was as soon as the steri strip came off and I did It morning and night, and messaged it in with a lot of pressure to break up the scar tissue. I also did message in my belly and scar at night with vitamin E oil. It really helped with swelling and soreness and I believe it helped my scar as well.

I’m sorry it took so long to reply, I just sent this message. If this is something that will make you feel more confident about yourself, that is a good thing. Don’t let doubts or others make you feel guilt for loving and taking care of you.

Woah, you don't look like you've been pregnant 7 times at all! My belly looks like yours pre-op and I've never even been pregnant.

Have you also had a breast augmentation? Was it after you were done having kids?
March 27, 2018
Ha! Ha! Thank you. Yes I had a breast augmentation 18 months prior to my tummy tuck. Ultra high profile 485cc. I had my first procedure done when my youngest was 7 years old.

Dreaded before pictures!

So these pictures are really hard to post, but I'm keeping it real! These are the positions that I would always avoid! And the reason I have wanted to do this for 10 years now.

Day of treatment

My surgery all went well and once I finally got back to my room the rest of the night was pretty uneventful. I took 1 Percocet every two hours because I don't do well with pain medication, but I can honestly say I never had any pain. Just stiffnes and discomfort. I was able to get up and walk the halls every two hour with the help of my daughter since I was bent over like a 90 year old woman. But I was able to get myself on and off the potty with no problems.
