WORTH IT
Hi everyone I had my surgery 3 wks ago and so far I'm feeling good, I am off the percocet, I can move around normal without to much pain. I'm having some discomfort but nothing to serious. This has been a very emotional journey because I'm really not sure what to expect so it's a little scary. I'm not sure if I'm happy with the results as of yet because my breast look so small and flat and it's seems that thats the first thing everyone notice when they see me now is this a normal look at 3wks? Also it's feels like my breast are having muscle spasms when I get cold or move a certain way the tissue glue is peeling and the sports bras make my breast cramp. Can someone please help me understand what is going on because I have no clue.

Hi Nikkistarr, I'm 22 years in on my first reduction and getting ready for my second one. I still, to this very evening, feel phantom pain in my 22 year old scars. Lots of weird things happen, and some stay forever, with this extensive cut. The first 3 years or so I called my surgeon with every little thing. Now, 22 years later and ready for another reduction, I'm totally brave and ready for the unexpected. It's an emotional and physical journey, not a sprint. It's so worth it. My advice is to STAY CALM and assume what you're experiencing is normal. Blood, puss & pain are your signals to be concerned. Your entire body has been shocked and your breast tissue, nerves, glands etc... have been violated. I had stiches and not glue but I would think that your glue should be dissolving and dissipating 3 weeks down the road. You can write me directly if you want and I'll email you pictures of what the scars etc ....will look like once you're finished with recovery. You didn't get a "boob job", you had major surgery. It's not a walk in the park, but again, it is worth it. Don't freak, your body is responding to a violent attack. Just wait until you start reaping the benefits, you'll love it! Hi Phyllis my name is Mollie and I have my first appointment with Dr christiano in rochester ny on the 21st of September. Im a 48 dd or ddd not sure what my breast size really is. My 48 dd bras fits bUT a little small. I was wondering what I can expect before after surgery. I also want to know how small they make your chest. I would really love a b cup if possible. Thank You and God Bless

I've had a scar revision since my reduction, I'm still in pain, my breast never shaped into a normal shape, I'm unable to wear bras only sports bras, I'm unhappy with myself and I wish I never has the surgery done.

I finally come to terms that my breast are botched and isn't going to get any better. I've had a scar revision which made things alot worst and I'm very unhappy with myself. I've tried to get a lawsuit but haven't had any luck and I'm wishing I would have just kept my large breast and suffered from the pain because things aren't the same anymore.. I've attached some updated photos for you all to see.. I had a reduction, lift, nipple graft, and I had a scar revision and this is the ending results..

I am so sorry you had such a bad experience and are now unhappy. It is a fear I think we all have is that somehow, we will feel worse. You are more than your breast and I pray you come to feel at home again in your body soon.

I know we all hear we are more than our breasts, but breasts play a huge part in feeling feminine...otherwise boob jobs would not be so popular. I too feel I was made too small, and although I am only 3 months post op, I don’t love it yet. I really thought some of the scars would be hidden by my breasts, but so much was taken I have no normal breast shape. Over 800 cc each breast was taken out so I had lots to work with. I am so sorry to hear you are so unhappy after 2 years.
