10 days post surgery.

WORTH IT
Very happy with how it is all looking. You can’t see any of my stitches scars from the bottom. The skin above my left eye is a bit rough but that will hopefully smooth over time. Bruising is subsiding quickly and swelling almost gone. Feeling great and heading out to dinner tonight.

Amazing! quick recovery and you look great.
Looks good! I am considering lower blepharoplasty and was wondering if they gave you eye drops/ ointments for comfort and to protect from infection? And do your eyes burn or sting?
Hi, what did it cost to do both?

One week out. I am a BRUISER!!

I am back feeling very happy today. The past 4 days my eyes became very inflamed and sore. I could barely see and not function. I went back and saw Dr Nettle twice and we now have the eye inflammation under control. Apparently I am the 1% of pop whose eyes react to the surgery. Good news it was inflammation and no infection and I am on the improvement.
The other new news is I didn’t know I was such a bruiser and given I my vision has been so blurry I have only just noticed this today. I still have a big bruise on my leg where they took fat for my eye bags. I am not bother by the bruising and my stitches scars are all healing fine. In fact I didn’t even feel the stitches come out on Monday.
The hardest part for me is laying low and walking around in sunnies and hat. I do have to remember it is only a week out and I really should expect things to take upto two weeks. I am just impatient and want to get back to work and life!!
Don’t let this scare you, I feel great and know the bruising is subsiding. Still so happy I had this done. I just need to be patient!

Good thing there is no infection or anything! Hoping the best for your healing!

Wow! So much improved from from your first post, just a week ago. Looking real good!
You look like you are healing well now and the results look great! You are a trooper! Can I ask about the feel of the stitches? That is the part that scares me the most about this procedure (well, that and being awake). How did it feel to have those stitches on your eyelids? It was a week, I presume?

Day 2.5 days post surgery

No pain which is great. Bruising all around the eyes however swelling has subsided slightly and doesn’t feel as tight. Stitches coming out in 2 days. All looking good and nice to see I have my eye lids back.

Hi, I’m following your story. Our age and eyes are similar. I’m booked in for November. Just wondering what the incisions are for in your lower lids? I think mine is being done from the inside.
I had loose skin taken from under my eyes too. I did also have some fat transferred in under my eyes as well.
Ok. Sounds similar to me. I’m also having the fat transfer and excess loose skin removed but my incision for that will be right along the lash line so just a bit different. Thanks.
I’m following too. Looks full on but glad you are happy.
I am following too. Why is the incision so low ? I thought that it was meant to be hidden in a lash line ? Glad you are happy though. I am interested in this procedure, but worried that the incision will be this visible. Could you please update how the scar is looking as you are healing. Thank you
