Upper and lower eyelid surgery —natural result

I have always known I would need to have my upper lids done because hooded lids runs in my family. As I turned 48, it was clear I would have to do them sooner than later. I was referred to Dr. Madnani by my dermatologist and made my consult appt. I knew from that 1st visit with Dr. Madnani was the right surgeon for my procedure. The fact that he only does facial procedures was a big plus for me. He was extremely patient with answering all of my questions and explained the procedure in detail, even showed me some post op pictures of recent patients who had my exact procedure done. He emphasized that his goal is a natural look and that is exactly what I wanted. I was pleased to hear I would not have to go under any anesthesia, that the surgery is done primarily with local. He suggested, I also do my lower lids as well because of the fat pockets and darkness under my eyes. I was very weary of doing both at the same time but after seeing Dr. Madnani for a second consult, he reassured me that it was aesthetically needed. The surgery was a breeze. Dr. Madnani made sure I was comfortable and pain free throughout the procedure.The recovery was also pain free, although it did take two weeks before I was comfortable going out in public without sunglasses.I am beyond thrilled with my result and owe it all to Dr. Madnani for making me look 15 years younger.I am 6 months post op and my results are natural and I feel completely refreshed. I don't hate looking at pictures of myself anymore! I am happy I took Dr. Madnani's advice to do my lower lids as well. It was the best decision.I could not be happier with my results.
