6th day from surgery
WORTH IT
I have been healing nicely. The swelling has been reduced significantly
The stitches will come out in 3 days. I am curious of the final result as my eye/brow area is asymmetrical by nature. I am a little concerned for one of my eyelids which looks a little bigger. It may be due to the position of the cut/stitches. When the stitches are removed I will be able to have a better view of what is happening.

6th day progress update
Healing is progressing nicely. I noticed that one eyelid seem bigger than the other but I am not sure if this is because of the position of the stitches because my eyelids and eyebrows are asymmetrical. I am taking them out in 3 days. I will know for sure after the area has healed completely.

Upper Blepharoplasty in my 50s
I had an upper blepharoplasty 4 days ago and the experience was very good. My surgeon used local anesthesia and removed only (plenty of) excess skin and no fat as I afraid to do this due to the risk of orbital hemorrhage and the potential vision loss. So, after surgery I only used tear drops which contained cortisol and natural tears. I had no blurry vision. I did not take any antibiotics. I got pretty swollen gradually. Swelling peaked at 72 hours. At day 4 which is today, my swelling has subsided significantly. I used a lot of icing during these first 3 days and slept with 3 pillows. I have a follow up appointment tomorrow to decide when to remove the stitches. I am pleased with the progress so far and I am curious of the final outcome.
