The best oculoplastic surgeon in Turkey

If you are considering a blepharoplasty, only go to an occuloplastic surgeon. I went to Dr. IIke B. Simsek in September 2023 for a bilateral upper blepharoplasty. I could not have picked a better doctor. Her attention to detail, kindness, and skill level is unmatched. She was affordable but also THE BEST. I felt like I had a tailored, concierge experience. Prior to the procedure we spoke via Instagram and Whats App. On my arrival to Turkey we had a consultation in her office and I explained my preferences. She was also able to accommodate my wish of not wanting to go under anesthesia for the procedure. On the day of my procedure, I vividly remember walking through the hallway of the hospital with her and every single staff member stopped to wave at her. I had the feeling that she was not only liked, but highly respected. She was so kind throughout the process. I kid you not, she even helped me get back to my hotel after the surgery! You could not get a more empathetic, caring and nurturing surgeon. I was able to communicate with her directly before, during and after my procedure and her responses were always timely and with kindness. I could not be happier choosing her as my surgeon. It was my first time having surgery and I was very scared but she guided me the entire way.

Side story: During my trip, I dined at a restaurant in Atakoy. The restaurant manager pointed to my eyelids and asked me, "which surgeon?" (A very common question in Turkey as it is a major destination for medical procedures such as rhinoplasties, hair transplants, etc). When I told the restaurant manager that I went to Dr. IIke B. Simsek, he was very familiar with who she was and told me she is one of the best occuloplastic surgeons in Turkey.
