I decided to get a rhinoplasty procedure with Dr....

I decided to get a rhinoplasty procedure with Dr. Smaili because this is a procedure he performs commonly and I felt I could trust his work. My nose was originally slightly crooked and it was affecting my self-confidence and self-esteem. I saved for this procedure for a year and was really looking forward to having a straight normal nose. My consultation was really brief and rushed. Dr. Smaili is overwhelmed with patients and I believe has more business and clientele than he can handle. the day of the surgery I pointed out the crooked issue to him and he asked me how I would like it to look I specifically asked him to just please straighten it out. He literally spoke to me no more than a minute the day of surgery. I was rushed out of surgery immediately waking up from the anesthesia. His office was again loaded with patients. I noticed my nose cast was crooked but hoped for the best I thought it may have been more swollen on one side. One week post op my nose cast fall off and my nose was extremely more crooked than it was before. My whole entire nose shifts more to the right more than ever before. He made it 10x's more crooked. I now have difficulty breathing and it has been well over two months. Majority of the swelling has went away but my nose is horribly crooked. After saving for this procedure for a year and looking so forward to it, I am left with total regret. I am extremely self conscious, and it has made me slightly depressed. I'm not rich and I do not have money to go and get rhinoplasty all over again. I went to a post op appointment and Dr. Smaili was out on vacation. I hope he will repair these issues. The worst part about it all I struggle breathing now its horrible and my nose is MORE CROOKED. Dr. Smaili is trying to make so much many he is not taking the time he needs to perform these critical procedures. His concern is getting to the next patient to make more money. Hes trying to perform multiple surgeries at once, while conducting consultations for about 15 patients, and post ops for another 15. Hes greed is causing him to do horrible rushed work. I believe he is good at what he does but is so MINDFULLY PREOCCUPIED, RUSHED, AND HUNGRY FOR MONEY it is causing him to do poor work. He isnt paying attention to his patients needs. This is my face we are talkinging about. I paid him $7000 to make my nose more crooked than it already was. It's depressing. I hope people read this and take what I am saying into consideration.., You will see for yourself if you chose to get your consultation. Remember while your getting your consultation there are numerous patients in the back that just had surgery. Would you want to be in the back post op with the office as chaotic as you will see it. I dont think so. I wish I took all these factors into consideration, but now it is too late. Please for your own sake search for another plastic surgeon who will take time out to hear your concerns and truly want to help you with your facial or body insecurities. This doctor is not recommended.
