1 Year Later

I am almost at one year and I thought I'd go ahead and update now.
I am very pleased with my results. The hair that was placed has grown and behaves just like the other hair on my head. This procedure has really allowed me to have more styling options and for that I am forever grateful. This recovery is not for the faint of heart, as it took about 8 months before I felt comfortable enough with the thickness to pull my hair up.
I only wish that I would've completely skipped the surgical hairline lowering and had two hair transplant procedures instead. I say this because I feel like I would've had more control over the shape of my hairline with transplants than with the surgical hairline lowering.
The hair that was placed through and in front of the scar grew in nicely, but there is still thinness behind the scar, since I did not have hair placed in that area. I've been shaving the hair in front and through the scar because of this, and because to me it looks more rounded and feminine to me, as opposed to straight across where the scar is. I another browlift done later this year and trying to figure out my options as far as the scar and hair: laser hair removal, surgical scar revision ect.
So overall I give this procedure and my experience a 10/10. The staff was proffesional, the office ran like a well-oiled machine, and the transplanted hair grew in nice and thick where it was placed. I do not feel as though I need another transplant in the areas where I had hair placed.
I have posted pictures with captions so hopefully it all makes sense!

4 Month Update

Hello,
I am 5 days shy of the 4 month mark. My growth really started happening during month 3.
It's pretty amazing how having this done really balanced out my face.
I haven't been doing anything special. Just taking vitamins, exercising, deep conditioning, blow drying, and flat ironing once a week. I haven't been relaxing my hair since I was told to wait a year so I may start wearing wigs at this point because my new growth reverts too easily. I started school so wearing hats all the time really isn't an option anymore.
I'll update again at 6 months post op.
