Hot weather = more swelling
I'm 5.5 weeks po. I'm swelling still &the past few days worse
think the hot weather isn't helping& also it's causing me to be extra itchy. My skin isnt dry but I think the swelling which is causing me itch &to look 6 mo preggo on its worst days ... Just Not fun!

5 week follow up
Saw my ps today. Everything is healing well. He said I can resume all activities except no weight lifting& no exercise classes where I'm majorly twisting/turning. Next follow up is in 7 weeks. I've still got swelling; the more active I am the more swollen I get. He says push the fluids (which I admit I need to) & take Motrin before the gym & later again in the day after a gym day.
Trying scar away
I put the scar away on yesterday.
So I'll check it every few days& see how it's looking. Yes, I'm still swollen... Kicked the gym up a notch or two the past few days so I'm swollen all over belly& a lil in the vajayjay. Next follow up appointment is July 2nd.

I've known this ps for about 20 years. My mom has had surgeries with him as long as 20 years ago& as recent as 2 months ago. I trust him& that's why I chose him for my surgery. He has had the same staff all this time with the exception of 1 staff member who retired to take care of her grandbabies. So that says a lot!! His office isn't that updated or special looking. Although, his quality of work &bedside manner as well as his staff is what I most care about (which I've seen in my moms case). I'll update date the reviews more in the next week or two.
