I'm Doing Me, This Time Around!

I've been lazy about updating my journey, let me try to recant the events of the past.

Thursday the Feb 5th I went to CECIP @12n had my blood drawn. Lesley told me she'd call me in an hour with results and to come back and be admitted at 4pm. Cecil from the Rh ( truly an awesome person) said something to her in Spanish ( later told me I ask her why come back at 4pm she won't have surgery until tomorrow, she's not going to have a good meal at hospital so I'll bring her back around 630p she agreed.) 3pm came no Lesley so the RH decided to take me to Boca Chica- the beach with the good ole fried fish. Just as we were headed out the door she texted me it's 12.

So after $300 plus dollars on iron infusions and iron shots my hemo only increased to 12. I'm thinking it had to do with the nurse at the RH diluting my infusions outside of what was originally written on my Rx. When I whatsapp'd Lesley she was like "why did she do that , that's not how the rx was written." When I inquired why I was told that's how they do it at CIPLA, well I'm a CECIP patient. Any who it was what it was, a big fat 12.

I enjoyed myself at the beach , ki ki with the RH staff bought a few trinklets and ate like a pig because I knew that would be my last full meal.

So it's been like forever since I've updated my profile. Not sure where to start. So I'll just in on the most pressing situation.

Okay, so I've been religious and consciously doing what's necessary to increase my hemo levels. Ive bought natures made iron 65mg, took those x3 a day with 1000mg of emergen C or 100% orange juice and 400mg folic acid added in the morning and at night. Id take 3tbsp of SSS tonic at lunch (believe it or not the sss tonic would give me a head rush, a slight high after I would ingest it and once it finally absorbed i would feel sluggish like I'm coming off a high, kinda drained. I know it's only12% alcohol in it which helps absorption but that's the side effect it gave me.) and then I'd dissolve my b12 under my tongue shortly after for energy. I added mega foods blood builder 1-2 a day to the regimen and after those were gone I added hemaplex. I also bought vitamin code blood builder and iron as well. I've eaten liver& red meats more then I care to remember along with chicken, turkey, Oysters, shrimp and beans. Ive had so much kale, spinach,collards,red peppers, broccoli, grapfruits, beets,and tomatoes ...ive also juiced beets, leafy greens,guava,&red peppers Im sure you get the point oh i added pur absorb the last month and was still taking chlorophyll and to know avail I'm right where I started 11.7 and slight more abnormal ferratin level (where did I go wrong I ask myself) I cried when I saw that ALL my efforts failed me over the last 4-5months not to mention I purposely stopped my period so I wouldn't have any blood loss. SMH

The good thing that came out of this is I lost weight and I have plenty energy.

So as I sit at BettyRH for the past 4 days I've been receiving shots and infusions so far after 1st treatment ive reached 11.8, waiting to get over 12 to at least have my tummy tuck, those other procedures are out the door and I'm ok with that because I want my life. Tomorrow I'll go back to CECIP and recheck my blood and Friday i WILL have surgery.
