This site is wonderful, I was so lost and found this site. Learned so much from each of your stories, thank you ladies. Well I went to my first consultation at nyee on Feb.20,2014. They were wonderful. The ps was pleasant and informative young lady. I liked the way she answered my questions very professional. Most of all she showed me that she truly cared about my health, that impressed me most of all. I was not able to schedule a surgery date because she wants me to get all the nicotine out my system was a little disappointed because I did want to reserve the surgery date. I will see her in 5 more weeks so she can clear me and then we can move ahead and schedule a date. I have been smoke free for 8 days now whoo hoo! Looking forward to this, its been a long time coming. I will keep everyone posted.

You are doing a great job not smoking so stay strong! I know how hard this is to beat, but you can do it. The tummy tuck will be worth it. You don't want to cause yourself any issues with healing so keep moving forward.

Thanks so much for your encouragement. I have been smoke free for almost 5 weeks now. It it is not easy but when you want something really bad some how one manages to do it without looking back. And I am well motivated with the help of my sistas on this site thanks again will keep updating.

Good luck on dropping the nico-demon! You won't regret it. It will help you heal so much better and with lower risk of wound seperation. My husband has been nicotine free for a few years now, it was a struggle. He focused on running and working out with me to help manage the frustration. He's some sort of super runner off the smokes, totally not fair, lol! Good luck! Lean on RS there are some wonderful ladies here to support you in your journey!
