Not much going on except slittle bit of annoying swelling on my sides. I think its related to my jeans rubbing and irritating the healing process. I have the "ken doll" effect going on right now . My drains were placed in the public region so maybe that's why? Not sure . People speak of their scar all the time. Me? I love how flat my stomach isn't cant care less how ugly my scar is. Enjoying anything I wear :) happy healing ladies.

Hi Megan! You look amazing! I'm 44, 3 kids, 145lbs, 5'2". I'm undergoing a mommy makeover. I'm so scared! How did you cope with the pain and not being able to move? Is your tummy rock solid?

Phone is running super slow. Feeling good. No pain just itching which is okay with me. I got my drains out day 8 . Less than 5 cc of fluid in 8 hrs. Tubes didn't hurt coming out. Just a little strange. Felt them pull all the way from my ribs.. wishing you all well.. happy healing!!!

Looks like we had surgery on the same day. I'm glad to hear you are doing well. Your belly is already looking awesome! Belly button looks good too. Are you having much swelling? If I do any activities I swell up pretty good. I see you are a nurse as well. When are you going back to work? I'm suppose to go back Monday, little nervous about it!
I'm going bavk this weekend. I'm going to doing just medication passes. Nothing heavy so I think I will be okay. I am swollen and stomach is still stiff in the middle buy nothing too bad. I was nervous about a fake looking belly button but I like it.

feeling so much better today!

I can see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. Today I woke up feeling great. I haven't taken any narcotic in 2 days. Just motrin and Tylenol q6h for pain mostly from the lipo. I have slight burning pain from the drain sight occasionally and itching near my incision line. I'm going to attempt a shower later , my last effort was a huge fail. I honestly almost hit the floor. I think because I took my garment off and I was panicking. Anyway I'm glad that's over and I'm on to better days now. Hope everyone else is healing well. God bless!!!

I am 4 days po, changed my dressings on Wednesday didn't look a much. Not much pain at all, but still taking all my meds. My garment it goes just from my waist to under my breast. I can see my drain tubes, and am putting on triple antibiotic to keep them moist before they come out. 1st po appt is Tuesday, so I look forward to getting at least 1 drain out. Appetite has been minimum. I eat only when I need to take meds and it is like, 1/2 pb sandwich or 1/2 apple or some applesauce or yogurt. Trying to get lots of sleep, since no one is home with me during the day. I am slowly looking at myself in the mirror each day. Don't know what else I could be doing to help healing?
