Day of Surgery & Post op day 1

Day of surgery:
I had my surgery yesterday and it went VERY WELL. I woke up in recovery and the first thing i asked was, "what size did he put in me?!" haha. So with that said, he placed a 300cc on my right breast and 275cc on my Left breast. Even though i'm super swollen and my boobs are sitting high, they look amazing! Dr. M did a very good job.

Prior to surgery I was given a prescription for anti nausea since i don't do well on narcotics. One pill is good for 3 days. I took it the day of surgery. In recovery room I was fine. I tolerated all the pain meds they gave. But as soon as I got home i was soooooo nauseas. The pain, pressure and soreness isn't bad at all, but i hate feeling so nauseas (plus i get motion sickness easily). So i decided to slap on a scopolamine patch (which my primary doc prescribed for me) behind my ear to help with nausea, and dizziness. I didn't have much of an appetite yesterday. All i did was sleep, drink fluid and took my meds throughout the day. And of course you I started my massages. It was uncomfortable at first, but then it gets better. Also, I've been stretching my arms and pinching shoulders together, which is making my post op day one even better!

Post op day 1:
Today i feel good. I'm less groggy. And I finally have some sort of appetite. I decide to take half a Percocet in addition to a 500mg tylenol. Because a whole Percocet makes me nauseas. By tomorrow, I hope i can lay off the Percocet and just stick to tylenol and valium. By tomorrow

Anyway, thank you for all your love & support. For the girls who are getting theirs done soon! Good luck and it will be so worth it! If you have any question, LMK! And i'll keep posting updates :)

I've always wanted bigger boobs since I was 18. I hate the fact that I wasn't able to fill out certain clothes, bathing suits or bras. And every time I walked into Victoria's Secret, I'd come out feeling depressed because nothing fit right!

Now that I'm older & have a decent job, I've decided to to finally get breast implants. After a year of researching and many consults later, I decided to go with Dr. M. He's awesome! Here are some reasons why:

1. He listens to what kind of look you're trying to achieve. (He likes the more natural look)
2. He's honest. (If it doesn't look right, he'll let you know)
3. He makes you feel comfortable
4. He's board certified (ALWAYS FIND A BOARD CERTIFIED SURGEON)
5. He does more BA than any other procedure in a year.
6. 0% infection rate
7. He a reconstructive surgeon which makes him a great plastic surgeon and vice versa
8. He's very detailed oriented (He's the only surgeon I've met that pointed out that My left breast bone sticks out more that my right..making my Left breast appear fuller that the right).

PRE-OP
My pre op was a couple weeks ago. First, I met with Sarah (DR. M's PA). She took me to a room to take a few pre op pictures. Then we went over medications/supplements that need to be stopped 2 weeks prior to surgery. She handed me my prescriptions and gave me a little pep talk before choosing implant sizes with Dr. M. She flat out told me not to focus too much on the CC's, but focus on what LOOKS GOOD in the mirror, but also to go a little BIGGER than what you're comfortable with. Because of all the years she's been with Dr. M, not ONE person wished they went SMALLER. (Especially when implants are placed behind the muscle, you lose a couple of CC's.) I took into consideration of what she said and walked over to the other room to see Dr. M

First sizers (250cc) he made me try on looked exactly like my padded bra that I'm used to wearing. Then I tried on 275cc. It looked nice, but it was a tad big and that's when Dr. M said, "Well, then if it scares you a little bit then that's the size! But if you like the 275ccs then i suggest the 300ccs would be another option too."

But because i couldn't make up my mind between the two sizes, I gave him the freedom to choose the size for me during surgery. He said that if 300ccs appeared too round and fake, then he'll go with the 275ccs instead. And yes, I'm going for the more "natural/bang for my buck" look than a [RS bleep] star/stripper boobs. HAHA. There is also a possibility that he might put a larger implant in my right breast and a smaller one in my left (Ladies, trust your surgeon! if you can't trust him..he's not the right surgeon for you!).

Now here I am…. TWO more days till surgery. I'm excited, but a nervous wreck. I haven't been able to sleep. Like most women who haven't had major surgery, I'm anxious as heck and hoping everything goes well. Wish me luck!! xoxo
