I'm a married mom of a 6 yr old daughter. 5'7 126 pounds. I gained 80 pounds after getting married and giving birth as I was a housewife. For the first time since 16 I didn't have to work, cook, or run for taxies and trains being a former city girl. Fast forward, I've lost all that weight plus some. My poor bottom disappeared due to the massive weight loss. I would like to reduce my already tiny 24 inch waist to 21 inch and I'm hoping to have enough fat in my thighs and back to lend to my butt. I know that I won't end up with a traffic stopping bottom but any added volume would be a vast improvement.

Hi there, welcome and thanks so much for sharing your journey with us!

So, where are you in the process? Have you researched or chosen any doctors yet?

If you don't mind me asking...how did you lose 80 lbs? I am a housewife too with an 18 mo. old.... I am about 35 lbs more than when I married. You look great!

Thank you! It's funny but when I was bigger the weight was my only "vanity" issue. Losing all that weight brought on a whole host of other things...saggy boobs, thighs, excess skin on belly (baby helped that) and the loss of youthful volume in my face. Still, I'm soo glad I did it. Here's how: protein protein protein....chicken, fish, pork, beef... You name it. If it was a protein with no carbs I ate it. Also tons of leafy green veggies. Just green. I went cold turkey on carbs and sugar (fruit included) with the exception of green pears and green apples. I don't care what anyone says, it's impossible to fail. I only did yoga 3 times a week. Lost 85 in 5 months and another 20-25 over time as I really didn't need to but wanted to give myself "cushion". Kept it off for 3 years now. Best of luck to you!

Wow! ya, as a carb addict, it is not easy but I've heard from so many that its the best way to go and not starve or count calories. You look amazing and I wish you luck on your search!! Im thinking Dr. Salama in FL when its my turn..... scared of DR bc standard there are so different.....

I'm researching researching and trying to decide if I'm brave enough to travel oversees or stay here in the states. Also, I keep looking for a dramatic before and after pic with someone close to MY measurements. Again, I know that I won't achieve a huge butt but I want a noticeable chance in my rear waiste and thighs.
No offense but the DR docs appear to do great with big girls but my goodness they know how to snatch every bit of fat around the waist, tummy, and back! I've seen some decent work with Beverly Hills docs on thinner women and then there's miami docs. I've seen some pretty good work come out of there.

TT, BBL, and Thigh Lift

I have and have had the money to do any and all the procedures that I want but now it's a critical time for my company and I can't get enough time away to go through recovery and surgery. I'm starting to waste money doing mis. Procedures, hair removal, fillers, body facials. Things I don't really need but I'm restless! I really want to set a date for surgery and address several issues at once. I've now decided that I'd like to have a TT, thigh lift, and BBl all at once. The bbl is what I'm most nervous about because I don't have a great deal of fat. There are some places that I can pinch fat from but that would require the doc to try and source from back all the way down to knees! I've got skinny arms. No meat there. I really need something to fill out my bottom. It's completely deflated.
The TT I'm not worried about because it's really just a small amount of skin. The thigh lift, I'd like to stick with just a groin incision. Again, not much fat at all but certainly extra skin at the top. Having all three at once may not be ideal but it's better for me to just go through the healing process at once. I'd love to get bigger implants as well but it's only been 3 months since getting them done.
I'm still leaning towards DR for the sole purpose of the dramatic before and after! I have yet to see that with any US doctor. If there's one, please point him to me!
I'm aiming for a January date because I don't have the time now, summer wouldn't be ideal for the types of surgeries I want, school will be starting in September for my little one, followed by the holidays and for my industry (insurance) our busiest time of year! This leaves January as the best time. Don't know if I can wait that long!

Hey girl~ Omg I was in the same boat~ I totally agree with you that it seems harder to find a dr when you don't have much to work with. I was trying to decide on the right dr for over a year. Have you seen Dr Hughes' work yet? I am 2 weeks post op from a bbl with him and I was very thin. Other drs told me they couldn't do more than 200 ccs. I finally decided to fly to LA for my surgery Dr Hughes got 1300 ccs per cheek and I love it! posted new pics yesterday~ Good luck with your decision!!!!!!

I am not one to judge but from reading your review doing all those little procedures such as the fillers, hair removal, and body facials it seems that you are desperately "seeking physical perfection" as your title says. May I remind you that you already look great, very nice shape so I can only imagine how good your bbl results will be! Just be careful because surgery can be addictive and there is no such thing as perfection! Please do not become obsessed with your appearance because in your mind it will never be good enough, all humans think that way. I really think you look great and you don't even need a TT from looking at that picture. Be careful that your Doc doesn't talk you into things that you don't need to get money out of you. Maybe consider a mini TT which is not as drastic as a full TT? I also think that you would need to gain atleast 15 pounds for the surgery since you are a little on the tall side if you want good bbl results. Well goodluck, I'm going to be following your journey. Much love!

Thank you for your candid input. I do appreciate it. I could be a little less harsh with my expectations. Gaining 15 pounds is not an option for me. I prefer to be flat than fat. I've been on the other end and being thin again was my dream for years. Now I am but older and a mommy. I definitely need some tweaking. Thanks for the sisterly nudge though! I'll keep an eye on journey as well!

You are so welcome mama! I completely understand your fear to gain weight because Id also rather not gain anything anymore. I'm 5'6" and only 137 pounds because of my pregnancy. I used to weigh 120 pounds before it all, I was very slim and proud of it but pregnancy does things to our bodies LOL. I am scared of not getting the results I want so I am gaining weight but I know that anything I gain, the doc will suck right back out. THANK YOU JESUS. But the user below me "al27" has AWESOME results and she was slim too so maybe there is still hope for us!
