I have lost 1/2 of my body weight, down to 135 lbs from 270 with diet modification. I have been at a stable weight for over 2 years now, and while my body shrunk down very proportionately I am still left with drooping skin. I haven't decided if I am brave enough to post pics for the world to see yet. I am brave enough to do something about it though, my LBL is scheduled for March 12, 2014. I have already done my pre-op and started the pre-surgery regimen of deleted vitamins, and added protein. Trying for 120 grams a day, which has already resulted in a 2 lb gain that I am trying not to panic about. I want to thank everyone who was brave enough to post photos, your journeys gave me the knowledge and courage to pursue my own dream of freedom from the weight loss baggage. Having ideas about what I can expect post surgery from real people who have been there has given me the confidence to do this.

Good luck! I am also scheduled for LBL later this month (God willing - if my low iron doesn't screw things up )

Thank you for the luck. So far it has been better than I expected, at 72 hours post op I am sitting in a regular chair typing. What I saw yesterday when they changed my bandages was astounding.

Congratulations! Awesome on the weight loss and so happy you are able and willing to complete your transformation with surgery! I wish you the best of luck. I had a mommy makeover 3+years ago. On Feb 14 th of this year I had my TT converted into a lower body lift and had a medial thigh lift. I live in AZ, but chose my surgeon who happened to be in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Still recovering here until the 12 th. Please keep posting! Wishing you all the best!

If I could go number 2 I would say this is a slam dunk. Yesterday (48 hours post) I actually had my husband drive me to town to have my hair washed and french braided so it wouldn't be an issue for me. Still taking Percoset since the Vicoden causes my skin to itch. This morning I will cut it to one Percoset and see what that does.
So many of the things I worried about just haven't been a problem, like the 2 flights of stairs I had to climb to get to my bedroom.
Love my lift recliner I found at Costco. At first I was't keen on something so old lady, but it has been a serious blessing except I have to stand on a stool because I am too short to start in the right position.
Now I just need a bowel movement and life would be peachy.

OMG, that is awful. I know I am lucky for this to happen just 72 hours post, but I feel like I have given birth again. Any insight into how to confortably sit now this is over? Sent my husband to the store for Tucks and Prep H. Any other suggestions?
